In the following guide I’ll show you how to create review widgets for your website step by step, with the help of Trustindex’s templates.
Step 1:
Use the Setup guide on the Dashboard or click on the Widget Configurator in the menu on the left.
Step 2:
Choose the Trustindex widget template you like and that fits your website the most.
Step 3:
Set up the chosen Trustindex widget template to display only those reviews that you want to use on the given landing page.
With the widget’s detailed settings you can add tags to filter out the non-relevant customer reviews.
Step 4:
After you’ve set up your widget, name it and save it by clicking on the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.
After saving your widget, the system generates a java script code you can copy. You will see the code on the right side of the page.
Copy this code and paste it to the appropriate place on your website or landing page.
Step 5:
As shown in Step 4, copy the unique javascript code (generated by the system), and paste it into your website or page, where you want to display your customer reviews.
Step 6:
Check that the inserted widget is displayed with the proper language settings on your website, and that it displays only those reviews you wanted to add.
