Careful pre-paying if you might need to cancel Just to preface this one star review, it's not to do with the quality of work, which I have heard is excellent, this is to do with the experience I have had pre-paying for a lead in to be done, and then having to cancel it (as the NBN civil team came and offered to do the work for free after I had booked my work in with Jason) After the NBN civil team had come and told me they'd be able to perform the work, I attempted to contact Jason via both email and their online ticketing system (which I used to book the job and pay for it initially) with no luck, Jason actually contacted me by phone the night before the date we'd set to postpone due to the rain that was expected the next day (which is fine, digging in the rain is no fun) I informed Jason I'd need to cancel the job, and offered to pay a cancellation fee, as I'd done in my email and ticket, I had to wait more than 2 months to get a refund and was charged $380 for the cancellation, I feel this is excessive, especially as Jason didn't have to reshuffle other jobs as he would have had to have done had I not cancelled. I did mention all of this in my last email to Jason when he'd refunded me (again, after more than 2 months), but there was no response, so I thought I'd leave this review so prospective clients don't get stuck with $1400 out of their bank account for a long period if they get into a similar situation in future.
