She shared valuable real-life experience, taught with honesty about the practical realities of doctors’ and MOAs’ work environments, and focused on truly training her students for success. She guided me with assignment submissions, helped me correct my mistakes, and was always proactive and supportive. Learning online can be challenging, but her dedication made it an enriching and motivating experience.
Finally, thank you to John, who made me feel completely at ease right from the beginning. He answered every question with patience and positivity before I enrolled, and his willingness to work on Saturdays and assist online students like me truly stood out. His reassurance and helpfulness played a big part in my decision and overall confidence in joining this course.
I am truly grateful to all three of them for their support, professionalism, and encouragement. They made this journey not only possible, but meaningful.
I am extremely disappointed in this school . Not only do I have a major student loan I am still paying off. I took sick during my practicum , when I was able to return to finish it they tried to make me pay again for the practicum they already took money for. This school was the worst choice .. left me with debt … and would not give me my diploma. Extremely disappointed.
Excellent Program with Outstanding Instructors
I recently completed the Addiction and Community Support Worker diploma program at ABES, and I can confidently say it was one of the best educational investments I've made. The comprehensive curriculum provided me with practical skills that I use daily in my work as a Community Disability Practitioner.
What truly sets ABES apart is the quality of instruction. Sunny, in particular, was an exceptional instructor who brought both expertise and genuine passion to every class. Her teaching style perfectly balanced theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, making even complex concepts clear and engaging. Sunny's extensive field experience added invaluable context to our lessons, and she was always available to provide additional support and guidance.

I did community support worker course.It is a great experience to be a part of this amazing institution. Great instructor @Sunny Khurmi, who has supported us in every way possible. I completed my Health Care Aid (HCA) certificate training at ABES College, and it was truly a life changing experience. The program helped me grow from the foundation up building my confidence, competence, and ability to work independently in real healthcare settings.
The instructors were not only teachers, but also like friends and family. They supported us every step of the way, especially during clinical placements, working closely with us to apply classroom knowledge to real-life situations. Their kindness, professionalism, and encouragement made a huge impact on me.

I highly recommend ABES College to anyone planning to start their training in healthcare. Because of the strong foundation I received here, I’m now planning to continue my journey and transition into Nursing diploma training and I hope to do that with ABES again.

ABES has been a good college that I don't regret joining. I learned a lot there, and it is a highly recommended college. My instructor Ana, and later Sunny who joined afterward, are both great instructors. Sunny brings real-life experience into her teaching, as she has a strong and extensive background in the field. She also makes the classes enjoyable with her sense of humor and engaging personality. I highly recommend this college and especially appreciate the learning experience with both Ana and Sunny.
