The house was beautiful. We were able to lay back have fun and relax…which we all needed very much! My sister enjoyed her birthday as well! Very grateful and can’t wait to come back for another a visit.

Sandy’s getaway was perfect for me and my wife’s quick getaway. The pictures were exactly like the place. It was very quiet, relaxing and cozy and the view was phenomenal! Sandy was also an amazing host. When we needed something, Sandy was very quick with responses and really cared about our stay. Sandy even had a hairdryer delivered to us during the stay after my wife forgot hers. Overall, the stay was as close to perfect as possible. We definitely recommend Sandy’s lakeside getaway.

5 of us went for a little mother~daughter get-away to relax and shop in Canton. Sandy was very accommodating and helpful with all our questions. Her home was comfy, cozy, clean and perfect for our weekend! Loved her outdoor space for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the lake. Our girls weekend of 5 was perfect at this great location. Peaceful and serene !!Had everything advertised the seasonal touches on the grounds added to the charm. Very comfy beds, bathrooms large and great for our group. We definitely will come back to enjoy this oasis close to the metroplex. Thanks for sharing this home with us.

Sandy was a wonderful host! She truly cares about her guests having a great experience. The home was excellent and had everything you could need or want in a lake house. The kayaks were great and the beach area was perfect for hanging by the lake and playing in the water. The house was very clean and well stocked, it is someone’s home, not just a rental property and it definitely shows. My group of all ages had a wonderful time and would love to visit again!

We loved staying here for a girls’ weekend. The Texas weather was very tolerable with her comfy deck chairs quite often in the shade of the house. I LOVED looking at the water which we actually ventured in - nice sandy bottom for quite a long way. Very peaceful reprieve from city life. Sandy was very kind and communicated with us well. Would love to come back again!!

The house was spotless and the home was the perfect getaway. It was too hot to use the outside fire pit unfortunately- what a fantasy space to sit and enjoy the sounds of the lake. We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was perfect! Upon arrival, our key code for the door wouldn't work, most likely user error. I called her and she was there in less than 5 minutes. The house is beautiful and super clean. She left a note saying help yourself to whatever you need. We forgot our Bluetooth speaker and voila, we had a Bluetooth speaker. I needed some bungy cords. She told me to check under the bed. Fishing pole? BAM! We had one. We really enjoyed the kayaks and coffee in the morning on the porch or on the chairs beside the lake. She also had games galore, workout stuff, bathroom supplies, chargers, if you forgot it, it is probably there.All around amazing adult getaway. Thanks so much Sandy! Can't wait to visit again.

After 2 years of AirBnB, Sandy’s slice of paradise was one of the best experiences. Her place just felt like home. We played games, watched sunsets, kayaked the reservoir, and rested in the never ending shade.

The home was amazing and had a lot of things to do inside and outside. Games, towels, outdoor seating, fishing items, household items, and so much more were provided. The interior was jaw dropping because it was so beautiful. Access the lake was easy and there’s a mud room you can enter from the outside to clean up. The garden was beautiful and Sandy provided us with fruit from the garden and offered us other garden items. Sandy was extremely helpful and checked in daily with helpful information. We loved the home and will be returning! 💛

Our stay was perfect. We were on a couples trip and cannot be more happier with the home. The house was beautiful, clean, cozy and comfortable. The patio was amazing, very relaxing and peaceful in the morning. Loved the fire pit and the deck down by the lake. Every need was met and Sandy was very accommodating. I highly recommend this beautiful home. We all left relaxed, refreshed and renewed!!! Thank you Sandy for an awesome stay.

A really lovely home with a fantastic lake view. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Really appreciated that the temperature could be set on each level of the house, given that my family member and I have different views on the right temperature for sleeping! Sandy was a great host, checking in on us and responding immediately when I thought I had a problem getting into the house (it was 100% a "me" issue and not a problem with the house). The house is nicely decorated but the furniture is actually usable and comfortable -- which is not always the case! I highly recommend Sandy's home and hope to book again for my yearly trip to First Monday Trade Days.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Due to heavy rain, we stayed indoors on Saturday, but enjoyed view of water birds and played games provided. Convenient drive to Ennis on Sunday to see bluebonnets.

Sandy is the super host of super hosts. Her house has a great location on a lake. It’s comfortable, well equipped, and beautifully furnished. It had everything we needed. The porch, fire pit, and dock gave us great places to hang out while we were there. It was the perfect place to view the total eclipse. Highly recommended.
