I am immensely impressed by Allegra Kochman and AKA Insights's projects. The sophistication in their design, meticulous use of data analytics, historical context, and attention to detail elevate her clients' residential and commercial aspirations. It is genuinely inspiring to watch Allegra Kochman lead and manage client expectations while serving as their investment advisor and partner. She is a genius in design and architecture.

Allegra was the architect for the gut renovation of our apartment and did an amazing job from start to finish. She took the time to understand who we are and how we live and then designed a perfect living space for us that really helped keep us sane during the pandemic. Allegra managed the construction process diligently, and was always organized and on top of everything. She made the process as stress free as possible and we are more than delighted with the results.

I worked with Allegra on the cosmetic and lighting up-grade of a pre-war classic six on the Upper West Side. The results were completely charming, economical and quick. Allegra's eye for light, color and space made the process an education for me and a joy to share. We communicated clearly throughout the process and she remains a dear friend.

What dazzled me when I stepped foot into one of AKA’s gut renovations on the Upper West Side was the striking mosaicked black and white tile that covered the floor of the foyer, a space with angled walls that was both exciting and welcoming. AKA’s use of color, flow, and eclectic design elements create a sense of spaciousness and character. At the same time, there’s a feeling of ease and real livability throughout. I regularly recommend AKA to friends with design and renovation projects.
