What a disappointing first conversation over the phone during our initial consult. I asked if she was sitting at a computer so we could shift over to Zoom to have a more personal experience. She said she was sitting at a computer, but declined and insisted her preference was a call. She said we could cancel if that was a deal breaker for me. I was so surprised she went straight to deal breaker talk that I elected to end the call and find another broker. So so strange and not personable at all. Terrible first impression.

While I typically opt for phone calls for their efficiency and convenience, I'm receptive to video calls like Zoom when they are requested upfront. Unfortunately, in our case, I wasn't prepared for a switch to a video call on such short notice.
When I asked if the lack of a video call was a deal breaker, it was because I didn't want you to feel pressured to continue the call if it was a necessary requirement for you. My intention was not to end our conversation but to make sure your needs were being met.
