I thoroughly enjoyed my taster session at Alien Rock. My instructor, Maurizio, was brilliant--encouraging, knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommend this place!

As a someone who's not very experienced, I really liked the not so complicated routes, great for practicing and getting comfortable with. The place has really good public transport connections, which helps too! Staff was friendly and helpful, the room temperature was perfect and it wasn't too busy which gave us the opportunity to get a lot of climbing done! Definitely would recommend

Great place for mainly rope climbing. I showed up from out of town with gear and no friend. The staff introduced me to a great group of members who were more than happy to climb with me. Everyone was friendly and supportive. I'm glad I made it out and would absolutely climb here again if I'm in town.
Lots of top rope routes. I didn't try the lead routes because they didn't seem to offer much beyond top rope other than getting on the ceiling. They seem to go straight to instead of offering a more dynamic experience that lead routes could offer. There is a very small bouldering room that offers some variety. I would not recommend coming here for only bouldering

Thanks for review Alan, we would always recommend boulderers to go to our other dedicated venue closer to the town centre- alien bloc, the old boulder wall here is mostly used by kids groups nowadays

Such a good use of space. Staff are very highly motivated and taught my son over a week to challenge himself and gain confidence with climbing. I'd really recommend this place.

Absolutely fantastic place, not what you expect. The guys are superb, really helpful and brilliant with the kids. So many different climbs and the kids had a ball. Can't thank the guys enough. We'll definitely be back.

Great friendly place to visit, and the beginner course is really in-depth. I would definitely recommend it if you are either a climbing enthusiast or just starting out

Fantastic climbing walls with some excellent routes, which are frequently changed and updated.
The small size of the space is its only downside, so certain times, like holiday weekends, can be very busy.

Det är ett gammalt klättergym, charmigt slitet.
Här är det repklättring som gäller. Bra och roliga leder. Alla sorters väggar, slabb, raka väggar och många olika sorters överhäng ❤️
Bouldering ... finns ett pyttelitet rum.
Enkla men fräscha omklädningsrum. Dusch finns

Had a brilliant climbing session.
We paid for the taster session with a member of staff belaying for us. Alan was great, friendly, helpful and superb with my nervous 9 year old.

Brilliant place for your kid to learn climbing. Unlike other, better known, climbing centres Alien Rock run several weekly kids clubs where your child can progress through the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme.
After a 4 week beginner course they can join one of the clubs that run at the weekend. It’s been great to see my son progress and his confidence grow.
A brilliant way to tear Spider-Man fans away from their console for some much needed exercise.
