We booked 3 trips with Amber Moon. For the first trip, they went to the wrong terminal, but eventually we were able to locate another one of their drivers in our terminal and that trip went fine. For the second trip, they were late by about 25 minutes. For the last trip, they didn't show up at all and we had to scramble to find new transportation to make our flight at the last minute. It was a stressful end to our vacation. Although their drivers were all nice and professional, I cannot recommend their service.

UPDATE: Due to the response from this vendor, I feel the need to respond. I understand there are protests and unexpected things happen, but you failed to communicate with us - we booked the taxi for 630am and you knew we were trying to make our flight at the airport yet you failed to respond to messages from me asking where the driver was until 7:42am. This is unacceptable. Also, another taxi was able to take us to the airport despite the so called protests you mentioned.

This was my second visit to Panama and I have used Amber Moon both times. They are always there at the scheduled time. There was a major traffic jam on one day and they still managed to get us to our boat ride in time.

We hired Amber to drive us from the airport to our hotel. When we arrived the airline "misplaced" our luggage and it took about 1 hour to retrieve it. Our driver waited patiently until we received our luggage. I can honestly say no other service that you can hire from an app would do this. You get what you pay for, and Amber Moon Taxi Service is the service you would want. And Amber picked us up at our hotel for a return ride to the airport at 5:30am sharp. Amber Moon Panama Taxi service is reliable, and they are prompt. We will be hiring the service again when we return to Panama next year.

Made reservations for transfer from Tocumen to the Marriott, then for the next day from the Marriott to Amador. As they were two reservations, I'll rate both.

The airport pickup was seamless. After a long travel day, the driver (Marcos) was exactly where he was supposed to be, helped get all of our luggage loaded, and got us to the hotel with no difficulties. He proved to be very personable and knowledgeable and acted as a tour guide along the way. In addition, he spoke excellent English. The vehicle was not brand new, but was comfortable, roomy, and had good air conditioning. Upon arrival, Marcos helped us unload, told us where we needed to go inside and wished us well.

The following day, we had a pickup scheduled for 11 AM. I contacted Operations to let them know we were ready and the driver (not Marcos) pulled up just as my watch showed 11 AM. He also got us loaded and on our way to the cruise port at Amador. We arrived with no difficulties and the driver got us unloaded and left with a wave and a smile.

To sum up, our dealings with Amber Moon really started our vacation off on the right foot. Excellent service, rates that were more than reasonable, and a level of punctuality that is rarely seen these days made for an excellent vendor and one I would gladly use again should we return to Panama City.

Very reliable , Ontime , on point and communication was great , they were waiting Ontime at the airport with all necessary information in regards to my arrival, and very decent and careful driving to our hotel and the driver was really respectful, very helpful and polite , ensured we arrived at our hotel safely, and after they our arrival at the hotel amber moon reached out to ensure customer satisfaction. You can also pay when you get there at very cheap prices ,Thanks a lot I will definitely recommend this Cab service to anyone going Panama

We arrived with 4 large suitcases and one carry on. Had booked return services at time of booking. Van that took us to hotel had terrible air conditioning. I had to contact operations on WhatsApp to get the driver to address the issue. About halfway to the hotel he got the air to work.
On pickup, they sent a much smaller vehicle. They knew what luggage we had on the way in and should not have done that. There was absolutely no air conditioning in the mini van except in the front seats. The back seat air was blowing at least at 85 degrees. Just like blasting the heater. Driver didn't speak English but insisted it would cool off once we started driving. It didn't and he didn't give a crap about it. He ignored my requests to fix it. So we kept the windows open even though it was in the 90s. Operations did not answer on WhatsApp to ask the driver to fix it. I would never recommend this company. Their vehicles are substandard. And I don't have an issue with the driver not speaking English but the company should then be available via WhatsApp, which is what they tell you to do for help.

Vehicle doesn't have power to get up hills.
Water, soda and beer would be nice for the long drive.
