Didn't really get a chance to find out if they do good work since when I asked for a quote they told me they do drainage ONLY and were "not for me." Representative insisted I was looking for someone who finishes basements, which is not true. I still need drainage and waterproofing, but she wasn't interested in listening to me anymore. Don't go by what is on the website alone.

We received a few other quotes as some showed videos and pictures but American Dry Basements brought actual pieces of materials they use and explained everything to the smallest detail. Three guys showed up and worked their buts off! I have a finished basement and put plastic up but the jackhammer they used had a vacuum attachment so no dust. All the stone and dirt was put in 5 gal buckets and debris was hauled away. Ariana provided excellent customer service. Thanks

I'd love to give this company a better review, but our experience was impacted by five things. First, the workers broke the seals of the asbestos covered steam pipes in several places. We did not discover this until we were cleaning up the basement. Lots of dust in that clean up! Second, the company did not take the asbestos disturbance seriously, so we had the air quality checked for $4000. Having spent a lot of money years earlier to have the pipes covered, I wasn't going to expose myself or my family to asbestos. Third, when the air quality came back OK, we had to contact the company again to request that they cover the exposed asbestos. Fourth, when I asked the company to share in the cost for the air quality testing, they stated they would take it under consideration, but never called and apparently are not willing to share in the cost of the testing. If they had taken the issue seriously in the first place, they could have tested the air themselves and saved everyone the cost of the testing, but they did not. Fifth, they placed the metal sheathing in front of the furnace/air conditioner. Since this metal usually goes along the wall, we could not remove our furnace filter! The company had to return and fix this problem. I"m hoping we do not have any water in the basement going forward, but I would sure like a better customer experience than what I received.

This review is a little late, but that's my fault. Several years ago we had a basement drainage system installed by American Dry Basement. We would have water in the basement several times a year. Granted, it did not build up because the basement is a walk out to the driveway and the water that came in would just run out the door, but it was a mess. We were very hesitant because we were not sure it would solve our problem, but it did!! This was the best purchase we have ever made! Not a drop of water or humidity since the day it was installed. Yeaterday was the 2nd major storm since the install. We pumped out 20 thousand gallons of water since yesterday. At one point the pump was running continuously for a few hours. Not 1 drop of water. My nextdoor neighbor was flooded about 10 inches deep in his basement less than an hour into the storm. He's still pumping out. The previous storm we pumped out over 40 thousand gallons of water over a weeks period. During that storm, the main pump and the backup pump were both running continuously and again, no water in basement. We're were very nervous, but the system did what they said it would. ITS WELL WORTH THE COST!

We just had basement water issues dealt with in our 200+ yr old home. It was a challenging and difficult project. Dennis S. thorougly explained what was needed, how it would be implemented and assured us it would be done in a timely manner for the agreed to price. We had anxiety over dust, sound, damage to grounds etc. Dennis assured us that the work crew was seasoned and respectful and responsible regarding our concerns. Vincente and his crew were exactly that. The disruption we anticipated was northing like we'd imagined. They arrived on time and worked long and hard each day ... culminating with a clean up at each quitting time. We wish we had addressed this earlier but it feels wonderful to know it's off the TO DO list. We gladly reccomend American Dry Basements. Well done guys.

Amazing service. Felipe and the entire team are professional. Their assessment of the problem was spot on. The service was quick. They made time to move us up earlier in the schedule to get the job done so we wouldn't have to wait. Our basement has thick 12 inch concrete floors and the guys worked extra hours to get the job done. I highly recommend them.

Dennis came promptly and was knowledgeable and friendly We decided to go with American because of Dennis. We just purchased a house, and our basement had a minor leak with wall seepage. I spent the next few weeks researching basement water proofers, and ultimately came across American Dry through a friend as well as a few other referrals. I met with each, and chose American Dry after meeting with Paul (they also have great Google Reviews). Paul came through with all his promises, and within 4 weeks I had 2 sump pumps installed, a linear french drain, with everyone piped to an outside dry well. I recommend this company for any basement water proofing needs. They're great, A+!!!!

We had severe flooding issues in our home and someone I deeply trust told me to give Paul Silva a call from AmericanDry and that he was the best waterproofer in the northeast. When Paul came to give the estimate, he spent 5 hours with me and went over everything in extreme detail. I’ve never once in my life had an inspection be this thorough. Paul takes extreme pride in his work and it really shows. Our basement was actually flooding when he was over and he even helped me clean up. When the crew arrived to do the work, they were all extremely professional, clean, and answered all my questions as they arose. When the job was done, they did an excellent job cleaning up and left our basement spotless. Since our system was installed, we haven’t had any issues and I wanted to wait to write this review until after a mega storm to see what the result was. There was one day last month where we got almost 4 inches of rain (which is a LOT), and we didn’t get one drop of water in our basement. Paul has seriously been a lifesaver and I can’t thank him and his team enough. If you have flooding issues I wouldn’t hesitate to call him, it was worth every penny.

Slow to get out to address something under warranty, then due to the pump they installed failing they charged a $250 service call fee. Check the terms before you do any business with them as this was not stated when I called in the issue
