I usually give good reviews but after eating here, I ended up with an upset stomach🤒, The service was nice 🙂, though, staff were friendly.
I didn’t expect to be this disappointed 😞. I’ve seen so many positive reviews 👍, but—this was my real experience.
Fei-Hong Fries 🥔 (US$16.00): The supposedly recommended signature dish is actually very mediocre 😐. The fries are bland, and the pre-made chili powder has no special flavor 🌶️.
Fish With Spicy Bean Paste 🐟 (US$34.00): The fish is clearly not fresh, frozen ❄️, with tough, compact texture. I couldn’t taste any bean paste , and it was overly sweet almost inedible.
Fried Rice With Shredded Duck 🦆🍚 (US$18.00): The smoked flavor is way too strong , overpowering everything else and making it hard to enjoy.
Crab Tofu 🦀🍲 (US$26.00): Also pre-made, but the taste is okay 👌—probably the most acceptable dish of the meal.
Overall the experience was very disappointing. I won’t come back, and I won’t recommend it

Lovely spot for Chinese in Williamsburg! The food was great, loved both the fish fillet and beef cubes.

Antidote was such a great spot to have dinner on my visit to NYC. The wait was not too long considering there were 7 people in my party. We had so many items off the menu and the staff was very attentive to allergies and other food preferences. The tea smocked duck was incredible, the cucumber was amazing, the wontons were delicious! Everyone loved their dish it was absolutely a great dinner. The only downside was that some of the fish dishes were made with tilapia which is not a fish preference for most of the friends I was with. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this restaurant

This is my nth time here. Can’t rave enough about place. It’s perfect for date night, it’s perfect for celebrations, it’s the best Chinese food in Brooklyn. If you can’t eat spicy food, learn how to then try the prawns.

Solid Chinese spot. The cucumber salad was delicious. The pung dao pork is phenomenal. Had the white fish with green peppers and it was fresh and light. Mapo tofu was also solid. The fried rice is a skip from me.

this restaurant is one of my favorites of all time - consistently the best chinese food in the city, incredible service, great atmosphere, and the drinks are amazing. every time i have a celebration or someone visiting, this restaurant is our first choice. the other thing i will say is this restaurant is great with allergies - as some who has tree nut and sesame allergies, eating at chinese restaurants can be very challenging and i’ve never had an issue or a close call here. the value and experience here is like no other!!!!!

This place feels both of the neighborhood and for the neighborhood. Our server showed energy when helping with menu decisions. Friends insisted I try Antidote and they were right. The taste quality is consistent! All in all, service was good. I'd like to try this place again!

amazing food - every dish was amazing and the basics exceeded my expectations! I loved everything I had and would definitely go back. the servers were highly attentive and it was a very pleasant dining experience.
