This is a warning to potential buyers considering skipping home inspection(s) due to cost(s). I had a HVAC inspection on a house. Contractor who installed air handler replacement, CUT-OUT & TOTALLY REMOVED KING POST TRUSS. Checked permit website to see what HVAC company would operate this way. NO PERMIT. HVAC inspector was able to find out: AIR AROUND THE CLOCK. Discovering a SIGNIFICANT MAJOR DEFECT, at the last minute, in a time-sensitive contingency window, has threatened my ability to obtain additional due diligence inspections I need. The most important of which, was advised by my real estate attorney - an inspection by a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to see if the structural integrity of the roof, could be restored, if the king post truss was reconstructed. Bottom line, my $89 to Dave, at Dave Anger Services, for his HVAC inspection, TOTALLY WORTH IT.

Writing this on night 4 of our house being hot!!!
It has been an absolute nightmare working with this company. We purchased our house that is under warranty with Air Around the Clock in August.
First it was not cooling and they said it was something with the compressor. Fix it, works for 30 days, no problem. Pay them the $200+
30 days later, not cooling again, same issue. First tech we get notification he’s on the way, leave work and sit around for TWO HOURS. Have to wait until next day for rescheduled appointment. Second tech says it’s almost the same cost to do the membership than to pay him for the service. Fine. $250+ gone.
30 days later, not cooling again. Third tech says it’s something with a wire in the compressor. Fixes it, fine.
Next day, new tech comes, now it’s the fan but can’t replace it until next day. 700+ gone. Comes to replace it today and it’s now 11pm and 78 in our house.
We leave our jobs to come meet the AC tech for them to slap a 4 hour bandaid on the issue, then I call the office when we get home (after 5pm) explaining how a tech came earlier and the services didn’t fix the issue and it’s hot again, in return I get attitude about either paying $200 after hours fee to send someone out, or scheduling for the morning. Now on night 4 of going to bed with the house being 78-84 degrees.
The tech’s have been nice, but each one tells us a different issue. Front office has attitude, no one has been able to truly solve the problem, and I’m now $2000 deep in fixing the SAME ISSUE!!! And thank god tomorrow is the weekend so I can get told, with attitude, it’s $200 for someone to come check it out!

Absolute rudest customer service ever. Not to mention predatory cleaning service where they don't actually clean your AC correctly. So it breaks down and then you have to pay over $900 for what they call an extensive cleaning! After already purchasing an over $5,000 new unit from them with a routine maintenance plan. There's plenty of AC companies in South Florida. Don't waste your time like I did being ripped off by this one. Pick Any other company!

Spent 7k $ on new install. Hvac..I called today for the 3rd time this month.Stopped working AGAIN.Today makes 4 times since December.All within the first year!!Be sure to do your homework. I honestly don't think I trust this company anymore. To be cont'd.AND they charged me 200$ because it was a Saturday..HUH?

The technicians did not put the utility tub back as they found it after servicing my air conditioning unit. This is the second time this has happened and after the first time, I had to hire a handyman to put it back securely. I was very specific in relating to the technicians that it be placed back the way they found it. Now I have to hire another handyman to put it back the way it belongs. How on earth can they claim plumbing service if the technicians can't reinstall a simple utility tub the way they found it. Sloppiness, sloppiness, sloppiness.

Do you all see all the bad reviews posted here ... BELIEVE THEM, THEY'RE ACCURATE!! I wish I could give them ZERO stars.
The tech they sent was more interested in selling us an entirely new unit than in fixing the problem, even after me telling them MULTIPLE times that WE can't afford an entirely new system ... IT WAS LIKE TALKING TO A BRICK.
Guess what happened ... I brought in another company (All Year Cooling) and they found what was a minor electrical failure, and not a blower that needs to be released. Need up saving 1400 dollars.
DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS, GET A SECOND OPINION !!! THEY'RE MORE INTERESTED IN SELLING YOU A NEW SYSTEM RATHER THAN FIXING THE PROBLEM.

After 4 years with this company, their answer to a warranty repair to a unit they installed 9 years ago which is warranty is for 10 years was abysmal. In addition, their website for credit cards does not allow for removal only update. Had to go through credit card company as they kept charging for services not performed. Run far from them.

About 4 months ago I purchased a new A/C unit from ATC. It has been terrible! 30 minutes after the installation people left, it stopped working. Another team was sent out who said it lacked freon (strange - a brand new unit lacking freon). They filled it up that night and fixed up wires and tubes. The next day another group came out and sheepishly admitted they were going to come back to fill it up. Really? They never said anything and it was written in the orders. 2 months goes by and the unit starts to make crazy sounds (I knew to record it). Shut it off til the next day when a service person came out (if they came out that night they would charge me). Another month goes by and now the unit completely stopped working. I had requested that a manager call me - guess what - no call. This is a lemon of an A/C !!! I'm very, very unhappy.

"It's been a little over a year since I purchased my air conditioning unit, and I'm still experiencing constant problems. They came to my house about 5 times; the last time was in August, 2024 when Air Around the Clock's team came out and charged me $195 to replace a switch that they claimed wasn't under warranty. Now, in October, the air conditioning has stopped working again.
Unfortunately, I'm stuck with this purchase, but if you have the option, I advise you to avoid Air Around the Clock. Their lack of reliability and questionable maintenance services aren't worth the investment.

I got a brand new 5 Ton AC installed on 03/07/2023 (6 months Ago) by Air Around the clock. Few weeks ago I got a email from them telling me that I need to schedule a maintenance appointment.
I called and they scheduled for 09/14/2023 (Thursday morning). They came and did whatever they need to do, they left everything seems fine and the next day (Friday night) my AC stopped working.
We called them and they sent someone here today (Saturday) the guy said that I need a new compressor for my BRAND NEW AC.
So I said to him this is a brand new AC how come I need a new compressor. The technician told me that he does not make AC so is not his fault.
So this is how we get treat buy Air Around the Clock.
THEY DON'T MAKE AC.!
I called their office and seems that they need to order a NEW compressor FOR MY BRAND NEW AC.
It is 85 F inside my house right now.
The lady on the phone told me that she need to get all the information from the technician to call me and let me know when they will come to fix my BRAND NEW AC.
Did they call you to tell you when they come back? Because nobody CALL ME.
UPDATE:
today is Wednesday they never call us. So once again my husband had to call them.
They said that they will come tomorrow. I don’t believe they will because they didn’t set up a time or anything.
I posted on their Instagram, instead of replying to me they deleted my comment.
