We hired Mario to do quite a few projects, which he did very well. A bit more than a year after the job, one of the tiles he installed on our pool deck cracked at the edge of deck due to water getting under it and it expanding during a freeze because there wasn't sufficient concrete under it (see pic). I've been trying to get him out to fix it for almost two years. He won't respond to my messages. My husband messaged him and he did respond, saying our tiles were no longer being sold by Belgard, which is untrue, since we went and bought the replacements there. It was an excuse, I guess, not to have to do the work. It's such a small job that no one else wants it. They all tell me that the original contractor should be the one to do the repair. If only.

I hired Mario to replace my 6000+ sq ft driveway. The old driveway was concrete aggregate and uneven due to the growth of tree roots since the original drive was installed over 30 years ago. It was a very complicated project due to the need to protect the trees as well as numerous buried wires and pipes. Mario did a great job replacing the old drive with pavers. I can't say enough about the quality of the work Mario performed. I would use him again without hesitation.

Austin Concrete pavers just finished paver project for my front and backyard, all I can say is I'm 120% satisfied with their work. Now my backyard is most favorite place of the house. The owner, Mario not only is knowledgeable about his work, his attention to details is beyond any contractors I've ever worked with. He and his team would spend extra time and steps making sure every part of work is perfect. Mario is very nice to work with and able to accommodate schedule and finish the project in time. They showed up on time and the team worked through each day on the site. Most importantly they treat your property with high responsibility, always make sure it's cleaned each day before they left. Austin Concrete Pavers totally transformed my front/backyard and it's in next level! My backyard originally had slopes on both sides which were not usable for kids to run on. Uneven grading plus grass always had standing water issues. Mario's paver stones and addition of retaining walls with stairs completely changed my backyard into a style, usable place which my family can now spend more time enjoying it. They added paver stairs and flower beds in my front yard which gives the house more stepped up looking and lots of compliments from people seeing it in person. Austin Concrete Pavers helped extend our tiny concrete slab patio into an amazing backyard paver patio. Mario was professional and responsive. The entire process from getting a quote, discussing design with him, scheduling and install was easy and quick. The quote he provided was very competitive. We were unsure of exactly what design we wanted and he helped to provide some advice on what might look nice with our yard and house. The end result is amazing! Mario and his team took great care to install high quality pavers with great attention to detail. The week after install we had heavy rain which showed a few places at the edge of the patio where water was gathering. I sent Mario the pictures and in less than an hour he was at my doorstep to investigate the issues. The next week he came out with his team and regraded those areas to prevent that in the future. Its clear that he takes pride in his work and ensures that the customers needs and concerns are addressed. We have a few future projects in mind and will definitely be using him again in the near future.

I am incredibly pleased to have worked with Austin Concrete Pavers for the installation of several projects – laying a relatively large patio including making the existing covered outdoor space consistent with the new design, a pathway along the side of the house connecting the driveway to a storage pad, and laying a gravel shed base with retaining wall edges for consistency with the patio. Mario was very professional and attentive. He was patient with us no matter how many questions we had. He also gave us great advice on the design that we had not thought of. I spent several weeks interviewing and getting bids from several landscapers, stone & paver installers and patio contractors. I choose Mario from Austin Concrete Pavers for several reasons and I’m glad I did. First, Mario was very patient and visited with us on several occasions to answer questions and drop off samples. He also gave us many good ideas and suggestions for the design of our patio which we never considered. His estimate was very reasonable. The communication was outstanding; a rarity in today’s marketplace when many contractors don’t even return your calls or text messages. He and his team showed up when they said they would and completed the job on schedule. They were very hard workers, highly skilled and took the time to clean up after themselves. My backyard patio renovation was not a small job; it’s over 1100 square feet with several sections and an existing pool with another patio extension. We also installed a 14x20 pergola at the same time with another company and Mario and his team worked brilliantly together to create an amazing and seamless outdoor space. Austin Concrete Pavers, and the Owner (Mario) are in a word, amazing. We had them completely tear out a large and inclined concrete driveway and replace it all with beautiful concrete pavers and the results were outstanding. But as great as the outcome was, I was even more impressed with the way in which the work was performed. Mario is unique in the construction contractor world. He does what he says he will do and he does with great care, pride, and quality and with the utmost integrity. I have never seen a worksite kept so clean in my life and that’s just one example of the little things he did that just scream high integrity and pride in work. I would highly recommend him and his company for any service they provide.

Mario and his crew did an amazing job! He did several different projects for us - a long retaining wall, a smaller wall, and several path borders. His bid was super competitive and very fair. He got all the projects done very quickly and with incredible attention to detail - everything had a leveled concrete base and all the blocks were cut perfectly to meet our curved design and precisely leveled. His years of experience really showed - he knows how to get the job done quickly and meticulously. We have several other projects we’re planning and I wouldn’t consider using anyone else for them.
