Had an amazing ayuasca retreat at Lawayra. I felt really safe and supported the entire time. Having had health issues, the doctor made sure I would get a dose my body could handle. I didn’t even throw up and still had the most wonderful experience. The support happened on all levels. The staff was incredibly supportive and all the talk circles made us bond deeply with each other. I didn’t expect ayuasca to be so gentle yet transformative. I was really nervous about it and now, I’m just excited to be back. Thank you Lawayra family🤍

LaWayra is definitely the best place you can choose for such a vulnerable experience.
The property is beautiful and the surroundings are just magic.
Lawayra team feels more like a family and Sam is super welcoming. We get to share some time with him and his family over luch and breakfast.
The facilitators are always there for us for whatever we need, they guided us is a beautiful way through the experience.
You can also feel the love they have to each other and towards us.
The food got better everyday and was always ontime. The kitchen team was really nice.
The cleaning team does such an amazing work with the property. Everything is tidy-up.
The organisation ist beyond amazing! Everything works as planned and everyone steps in to help. Clara does a really great job with it.
You can feel the experience and power energy of Taita Fernando guiding us and protecting us through the ceremonies.
The word circles are hard at the beginning but so healing as the experience go on.
I always felt really safe and taken care of at any moment.
Im so happy I chose to start my healing journey with LaWayra family. I couldn't imagine it any better.

Third time back here. Awesome to see the development since a year ago. The new maloka where ceremonies take place is perfect. The staff has expanded in the most beautiful way. Everyone who works here cares so deeply about healing and making your stay the best it can possibly be. Wow! Incredible experience. Cannot say enough good things about the staff, the environment and the healing that happens here. It is hard to imagine a more loving, compassionate, supportive Taita, facilitating team and staff. My second retreat at LaWayra and coming back felt like returning home. I recently attended this magical place for 11 days/6 ceremonies. Online preparation and integration courses are extremely well made and helpful. The physical setting is spectacular/safe. The staff and volunteers are caring and helpful. Food is great. Most importantly taita(shaman) Fernando is the real deal.

Sam has created an amazing space to take the ayahuasca medicine. the ceremony space is magical and the fact that ceremonies are led by a Taita makes this a great place to heal. the ceremoney has the most incredible live music with smooth healing voices. The staff are amazing! you will love it!!

I will tell my honest opinion about LaWayra, before going here is was really doubting between going here, or going to Putumayo - Where Jagé is originally from.

Deciding to go here was an amazing decision, i was welcomed as family by the staff, found deel friendships with others, kitchen team is pure love, and the food... Wow.

I would recommend everyone staying here for a longer period, Ayahuasca journeys takes patience, just as the bonds between people and a place. This is the place to feel grounded, surrounded by a loving energy.

Last week, I went on an ayahuasca retreat, and it was an absolute game-changer! The place was beautiful, surrounded by nature, and it was the perfect place to go deep and heal. The people who ran the retreat were super caring and knew what they were doing. They made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. The plant medicine, along with yoga, meditation, and group sessions, helped me feel calm and connected to myself and the world around me. It was a profound experience, and I’m so grateful for all the insights and growth it gave me. My only criticisms would be that the food wasn’t very good (although some people liked it) and the group was too big (I thought it would be smaller). Lawayra is a special place and the staff were honestly so great that I can’t dock stars. It was a great first experience.

My past week at Lawayra has been truly life-changing. I leave here as a new person, without a doubt. The experience was profound, and I gained so much personal insight.

The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, making me feel safe and cared for throughout the journey. The food was amazing—healthy, nourishing, and perfectly aligned with the process. The facilities were also excellent, providing a peaceful and comfortable environment for deep reflection.
