B&E Services handled our new heatpump install. This included outside unit, inside attic air handler, as well as running line sets, drainage, and some light electric work. I have to say I am extremely satisfied with how B&E Services handled our service from start to end. Candace handled my initial call and appointment booking, and from the very first call she was amazingly professional, courteous, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She quickly booked our quote for next day and made sure I had all the information I needed. Candace was quick to call back with needed information throughout the process and was just an overall pleasure to speak with. Zack made sure to find us the best deal on hardware for our home environment, ensuring the hardware selected made sense. He even ensured the hardware we selected was eligible for the federal tax credit program as well as other energy credits that Maryland offers. Appreciate your dedicated work Zack! Maria was also a huge help with the in between communications, which ensured we got serviced quickly and correctly during the few days this services occurred. Hats off to her swift responses and professional demeanor. The install and tech team was fantastic. I want to specifically shout out Evan. He was there from day 1 and even came back a few days after install to make sure everything was functional as expected as well as made a few minor adjustments due to some unforseen challenges. Kudos to Evan and his team mates for giving us knowledgeable and respectful service. B&E owners and leadership, if you are seeing this, hats off to all of your team mates that were involved in this install process. You folks are doing a fantastic job and I will be suggesting you to any and all that I can. Great job cultivating a professional team! Absolutely amazing family business! Very responsive, fair pricing, timely appointments. Every person we have interacted with has been absolutely incredible. It is hard to come by a business with this sense of responsibility to their work these days. They deserve far more than 5 stars, but 5 is all I’m allowed! As for me and my family, we will be dedicated customers as long as we live in the service area. 09/07/24 Update - had another great service call! We called after hours on a Saturday & left a message. They responded promptly with a return call, apologized for missing the call & someone got to our house within about 30 minutes. Diagnosed the problem and we have a plan to fix it! The contractor that came out was professional, personable, and informative!

So this company came out to our house last year and we had zero issues and this year we had them come back out. The first guy charged us $85 to tell us that our air filter needed cleaned and when he left, he never even put the metal part back when he left the giant hole in my ceiling, so I called and they said that they were going to send the manager out and when he got there, he informed us that the first guy had broken sensors and told us that we needed $300 worth of Freon $400 worth of die because we had a leak And we needed a $400 outside coil cleaning so if you’re catching up that is $1100 that we gave them two days later it was still not working properly so I called them. They told me on the phone that we obviously had a really big leak if it already was out of the 3 pounds of Freon but when they were here, they told us that it was a small leak, which is why we needed the $400 dye They came back out and told us we needed a $2300 coil replacement on the inside and told us that we were not able to use our warranty because it was in my mother-in-law‘s name that had passed away. Well come to find out getting a second opinion we are in fact able to use the warranty and the coil did not need replaced, it needed cleaned and the company that came out and fixed. The second company actually showed us how the outside unit that we paid this company $400 to clean was actually filthy and even had these nest inside of it. So basically, we got scammed out of $1000

I have been using B&E for almost a year bought a new heat pump from them after ours died. Excellent install, heat pump working great. Bought a maintenance agreement with them and had an issue on a Sunday for an older attic unit, came right out and added coolant and checked all the components. Excellent company and great techs.

Polite, professional, quick fix!

I cannot attest to the technician service but I have to give a shout out to the customer service. I called at 7am to make an apt & called at 11pm to cancel an apt- each time a very nice lady answered. I expected to get an answering machine & just leave my message & them contact me back another time, but nope both times I spoke to someone immediately. I have never experienced that level of customer service before. Whenever I do need to have an electrician come out I will not shop around, I will definitely be giving them a call. It is hard to find customer service like that!

Just called B&E this morning with a service call for my heat pump. Within a few hours, they sent technician to my home named Tony. He was very professional and personable. He was quick to diagnose and solve the problem and talked me through the issues while servicing the unit and made everything easy to understand. Just wanted to give a great review on this service call and commend Tony on his professionalism and knowledge. Def would do business with again.

This company was able to get to us for an a/c emergency right away, they could have came same night but as it was a holiday we decided to wait until the next morning. The tech Ryan was great, prices were fair and we ended up getting scheduled for a new AC unit replacement. While we are waiting for the unit to come Ryan was able to get our current old AC running during the in-between time. Would definitely recommend, knowledgeable, kind, prompt service!

Update, another great experience! Our unit went down completely and was not working. B&E services had a tech to our house the next day. They diagnosed the issue and were able to fix it the same day due to having the necessary parts on hand for our specific issue. The receipt invoice was specific and explained what parts and services were provided. I highly suggest B&E services for all your HVAC needs, from install to service.

Very satisfied with service! Evan responded immediately to an after hours call to my elderly mother's home. Her air conditioner failed on a very hot day, and I do not live close by. He fixed the unit in about an hour. He was friendly, kind, and efficient, as was Candace, who coordinated the appointment and provided updates periodically. Would definitely recommend this company.

After visiting Family and coming home from a hot day, my wife and I noticed there was water dropping from the door frame to the bathroom, which left a good bit of water on the floor. I reached out to B & E Services on Saturday at 9:41 PM, which is after hours for most. I was able to schedule a technician to come out first thing on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. The Technician's name was Evan; he was able to locate the issue very quickly and resolve it. Our bill came out a little over 180 with overtime rates, which is great. We plan on setting up an annual plan with B & E and are very happy customers.
