Pure Bliss
These headphones are beautifully crafted. And sound just as wonderful as they look they are super light. It does not feel like you’re wearing anything compared to other headphones of the same size.

Good near field speakers that need a little set up to get the best from them.
Great little near field speakers.Really enjoy these little things, I have them set on stands to bring them level with my ears while I use my PC (on the desk they sounded a little muddy, but still pretty good). I needed to get the distance and positioning "just so" but it was worth the effort.Had them for a while now paired with the Fiio R7 player/amp (both in white) and they sound very nice and detailed once I had the tweeters up around ear height.Can't fault them, they look good, and a solidly built with "bigger" sound than they look capable off, but as already mentioned they are for near field, I.e. they ain't gonna fill a room with lush images as you listen. At my desk I have them set well so I get great imaging from them.The seller was great too, Advanced MP3 players got the order to me quickly, although for some reason I can no longer access their site directly and it has stopped me ordering from them for other gear as I wanted to go direct.

Beautiful and super comfortable, sound of $500 headphones
Beautiful headphones, good unboxing experience, and super comfy/easily top 2-3 comfort wise. Sounded worse than wise, these are great but I’m conflicted… even with EQ at times these sounded only marginally better than my DT 1990pro/a $500 headphone, and other times sounded better than $1k headphones. In the end I ended up returning them as I didn’t like the inconsistencies and the imaging while gaming was good/great but not amazing.

Sound quality is amazing but came with broken cable
These headphones sound just as good as everyone says. The build is nice and they’re surprisingly comfortable even after hours. But this all is irrelevant if the cable doesn’t work. I ordered from “Premier Reward” in used - like new condition, and the headphones are like new apart from the smaller cable included not working properly on the left side. Insane for 800$ the headphones crackle and go in and out.EDIT- The larger cable (the only working cable I received, broke today. Do not buy from “Premier Reward”

I received my order a few days ago and wondered why I could not wear the headphones for long without discomfort. The sound was okay, but not brilliant. Today, I checked the headphones over and went to MEZE website.Inside the hard-shell Meze storage box, I had received THESE.When I had opened them I did think "These do not look like walnut, but a plastic" but thought the walnut must have had a plasticizing coating on them. Nope.I am having to return and replace. Someone switched the headphones inside the box for a much cheaper set.Did I receive a 'return' from someone who had switched the headphone brand for a cheaper version, or is this seller creating a scam here by doing the same thing?Amazon customer service have been very helpful on the return and replacement of these.DO check your headphones out when they are delivered.Amazon delivered correct headphones. These came sealed in their box. They are so comfortable and the sound is lovely!

I love the Meze 109 Pro headphone. And why not? It is a beautiful pair of cans that is ultra well designed and built. The aesthetic is drop dead gorgeous IMHO and the construction is meticulous. It is obviously a luxury headphone from the moment you open the box but once you hold it in your hand there is a feeling about it that is magical. It's lightweight and yet feels premium. Place it on top of your head and you will immediately experience the comfort of wearing it. The pads are soft and luxurios, the clamp force is about perfect: you won't worry about it falling off of your dome, yet it won't feel like you have your head in a vice. It disappears upon your head so that you can focus on listening to the music. I find that first and foremost.I purchased the Meze 109 Pro from another online retailer about a year ago and have enjoyed it likely more than any other headphone in my herd of headphones. In terms of comfort only the Dan Clark Audio Aeon Open X rivals the 109 Pro. The DCA has a similar type build, yet different as it uses different materials and the ear cups are shaped more like a human ear. Both headphones employ a suspension headstrap system that just works so well in distributing weight (though neither is heavy) in a fashion that keep the headphone in place while preventing any hot spots or other kind of discomfort.I currently own nineteen pair of headphones,some of which weigh twice as much as the 109 Pro, The Audeze LCD-2 and LCD-X are HEAVY by comparison. The LCD-X is an entirely different animal than the 109 Pro. It is a far more technical headphone, capable of prodigous bass response. It has a better sence of detail retrieval than the 109 Pro; you can literally hear the various layers of the mix. But the earcups are always coming off. Their use of double sided tape rings has to be remedied. It's garbage to have pads falling off of $1200 headphones! The 109 Pro is a FUN headphone that just sounds glorious. It won't produce the deep sub bass that rattles the bumper off of any of those tuner cars that go boom in the night, but I personally don't like that slow, sloppy, muddy bass. The bass of the 109 Pro is deeper and tighter than any of the Sennheiser 600 series except for perhaps the 660S2 with a similar overall sound signature. Where the Sennheiser 600 series excels is in the midrange, but both the 600 and 650 have that notorious Sennheiser veil. The 660S2 brings up the treble a bit and eliminates that veil while boosting the bass a bit as well. Overal I think the 660S2 and 109 sound similar but the 109 Pro does what it does in a bit more comfortable to wear pair of headphones. I know, you can find the 660S2 for between $400-$500 while the Meze will set you back more but open box and used are options are available if you aren't deep in the pockets. I purchased mine as an open box at a much lower price and they came as brand new.Pair the 109 Pro with good amplification and a good DAC and I suspect you will be very happy. Oh, and just like the 600 series Sennheiser's the 109 Pro will sound fabulous on tubes as well as solid state. Unlike the 600 series the Meze do not require a ton of power to sound fabulous. And to note, I did buy an upgraded cable for my 109 Pro as I do for most headphones but I don't go crazy expensive on cables. I choose a 7 foot length to use at my desktop because it is the perfect length for my set-up. I buy Periapt, Hart and Audiophile Ninja cables, all excellent without the great big price tag of all those who deal in snake oil products.I honestly believe that while I do own more expensive and more technical headphones, that if I could keep ONLY one of them I would choose the 109 Pro. That's not to say the 109 Pro is the best headphone on the planet. It's not. I'm speaking of only the headphones of which I own.

I am absolutely in love with my new headphones. They are an absolutely gorgeous design, I LOVE the wood. They fit my head super well and are extremely comfortable. I used to get headaches and a sore scalp from my previous headphones after an hour, but I can wear these all day and they don’t bother me at all. And they sound fantastic, they have a really fun sound profile that makes music so fun to listen to!
