Beware of these crooks theyll install junk trash 99 cents steam valves that will start leaking water after 5 months to save thenselves a few bucks , and if you complain the owner will tell you its your responsibility , good valves Last decades not 3 months stop being cheap BILL
All of our work carries a warranty in case manufacture defects happen. We have no record of you in our system and no reference of you ever calling us about a warranty issue. If this is a real review reach out to us so we make the needed repairs under our warranty. To post a horrible review without first reaching out to us first to see if we would be willing to correct the issue is just bad etiquette.

Renovated whole house after a fire.
Architects error caused delay in sign off not Billharz

Henry did do all filings necessary for his work, all his filings were rejected due to incorrect drawings sent to the buildings department by the architect. Architect in the process of correcting the errors so plumbing work can be filed and approved. Unfortunately architect not good at coordinating or communicating between all parties. Billharz emails and phone calls to the architect went unanswered Architect insisted plumber holding up job when fault was incorrect drawings.
Apologies to Billharz for this snafu

Was scheduled for 9-12 service, no call to say I was pushed back to 3PM “maybe” due to workload. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve used Bill Hartz for over 25yrs, no more!! I’m done!!!
We are sorry for the re-schedule. But every job we do depends on the job that was scheduled before you. We know that is not something anyone wants to hear but we do try our best to make the appointments as scheduled.

This company provides workers unbelievable low level behavioral, over here the employe speaks with the customer like the animal, shouting.
I the Owner would like to talk to you and find out what transpired i dont have you in our system as a customer but would like you to call so i can find our who you are talking about and what job this happened at. I try to be very on top of employee behavior during and after work. If this indeed happened we will talk to and re-train that employee.

We find them to be dependable, speedy, professional and trustworthy. They will tell you what you DON'T need as well as what you need. Here for generations. I know they installed floor heating in a Manhattan high rise as well small but crucial-to-us jobs here in Sunnyside, fixed our toilet, boiler, and replaced water heater. Due to being around since the thirties, they have some parts peculiar to our area that are hard to find!

I called Billharz on a Saturday to say that the heat had gone off in the house. Billharz sent out a plumber at 2PM that day and fixed the issue. Extremely grateful for their service. Nicole is extraordinary. I so appreciate their service - very professional, always courteous. Thank you.

Existing customer made appointment week in advance, confirmed day before for 11-2pm boiler service and preventive drain maintenance. Did not show up or call after calling 2x in afternoon. Finally received a call from office manager. Apologized and went to see next time they were available. Did not reschedule, can't afford the time to wait again.
We are truly sorry for missing our appointment with you. Due to Covid 19 and our new policies our men are taking extra time on job sites to keep themselves and our customers healthy and safe. This extra time has still not worked been worked out in the scheduling because the time it takes changes for each job. We are sorry we couldn't take care of your needs but the health and safety of everyone takes precedent.

They came on time. Were very professional and did a great job. I used Billharz when I had a business and now for my house. Have always been satisfied. They stuck to the plan and followed through in a timely manner like they planned.. Would totally recommend them! This is a company where everyone is on the same page!

I can't believe this place has anything but a bad review. Had a great experience with the plumber - he was friendly and very knowledgeable. I was told there would be a follow-up via email - never heard back. Called four times for a response over the course of two weeks and all I get is that someone will get back to me. No one can help me provide an answer on next steps or how to get in touch with someone to make an appointment. I had provided all my information and it's frustrating to be left hanging and now have to start the process of looking for someone again. Would not recommend engaging due to the poor customer service.
I am sorry for the confusion I was waiting to find out from you if the building was going to charge for a riser shut down. I will have your price minus this emailed to you today.

Noticed that my water heater was leaking and causing flooding. Managed to get a response from Billharz, despite it being the weekend, with advice on how to manage the immediate situation (shutdown and draining the system). Henri came round to inspect on Sunday and by Monday afternoon Billharz had installed a new water heater, which I'm very happy with. Good to have Billharz on hand for those emergencies that all too often happen on weekends.
It was our pleasure to help you out with this emergency.
