Called today 15 / 01 / 2023 for Sunday lunch it was our first visit and won't be the last especially as we are local. The staff were friendly , helpful and polite and made you feel welcome, dog friendly and had a visit from Dexter the pub dog always meets and greets when you walk through the door and likes to wander around he doesn't beg for food the kids loved stroking him ( not mine ).Back to the food well prepared and piping hot , portions larger than average but not over welming and good quality and very reasonable price. The pub is cosy with log burner and excellent choice of beers. 100%

Really enjoyed the experience here. Warm welcome, good service, delicious food served hot. Pleasant atmosphere with no loud music. They even have a pub dog.

Booked for evening meal the food staff and service were excellent only negative was it's a dog friendly pub there was at least 5 with there owners in the dining area this might put some people of but if don't mind dogs it's a must try restaurant see no in see

Lovely pub food was amazing and the service and staff were so welcoming and completely dog friendly 🥰, needed somewhere to stop for the night in the camper and came across this on park for nights highly recommended 😀 keep good local pubs going they are few and far between now 🥰
