Our surf lessons with Sampath and his brother were the best! My friend and I were complete beginners, but after a few lessons, we were easily able to ride green waves. The instructors took their time to give helpful feedback and to address every question and anxiety. On top of that, they were very reliable and had the best prices as far as we could compare. Thank you so much!!

I had a few surf lessons with Banti, he is the best surf teacher you could look for in weligama! He is so patient and encouraging, always smiling and caring❤️ I felt absolutely safe with him in the water! Also thanks to him pushing me by not pushing me like other surf coach did😂,as well as giving me a lot of good advices, I actually able to catch my own waves towards the end of my sessions with him!!! If you are looking for a good surf coach to actually learn how to surf properly, look nowhere else!

Wir hatten eine sehr gute Surfstunde. Sampath war geduldig und hat immer wieder hilfreiche Tipps gegeben, wie wir uns verbessern können. Er konnte auch gut einschätzen, was er uns alleine zutrauen kann und hat uns ermutigt, größere Wellen zu surfen, sodass man in Laufe der Stunde einiges lernen konnte.

Seriously the best surf school in Weligama! Definitely loved surfing with Banti who is very kind, patient and helps you to improve. He is always trying to find the perfect spot and waves for you to get better in surfing! He is also very friendly and kind person! Will go back for sure!!

Были впервые на уроке серфинга с парнем. Нам очень понравилось! Сразу скажу, тем кто ни разу не катался хотя бы на сноуборде, будет тяжело (как и мне). Сначала ты бултыхаешься минут 20 в море и уже весь рот и нос промыт солью, потом начинает получаться) больших знаний по английскому не надо, инструктора довольно понятно объясняют движения

My girlfriend and I wanted to get an introduction lesson, we ended up coming for four consecutive days and lessons! Tells you enough how much fun we had and how great the lessons were. Thanks Mahesh and Sameera!
After four lessons we made big steps and were able to catch waves 🏄♂️🤙🏼. Highly recommend if you want to improve surfing skills!

I took lessons with Sampath and can highly recommend Blue Wave. I improved so much faster than I anticipated. Going out to the green waves, I always felt like my instructor was looking out for me, picking the best waves for me and made sure I was safe and having fun.
Sampath always picked the right waves for my level. Having watched other surfing lessons on the beach, I felt like I caught many more waves. Even with the sometimes crowded line up, my instructor always found a good spot to catch waves.
Very fair prices for lessons and board rental, tops for surfing can be borrowed.
What I also appreciated was that compared to the other surf schools around, these guys weren’t constantly approaching people on the beach to offer surf lessons.
Lastly, everyone was just genuinely kind and warm and smiling, creating a family kind of vibe.

I went for a one-on-one class with Sampath towards the end of my holiday and ended up taking a daily class till the end of my stay in Sri Lanka (4 in total). Sampath is really a great instructor, with a wealth of knowledge of the area, and really pushes you to challenge yourself. I felt I improved a lot during those 4 classes, managed to catch way more waves than I would have ever done on my own, thus actually practiced surfing, and most importantly I had a lot of fun! Could not recommend more.

Mega fijne surfschool! Het hele team zijn chille gasten die je goede tips geven tijdens het surfen. Wij zijn hier 2 dagen geweest om les te volgen en zelf een bord te huren om te oefenen voor een goede prijs!

Samira was a fantastic coach! He had me go from beginner foam board to carving and turning on 3-5 foot waves on a 7’6 hard board in 3 sessions! He is an absolute master with technical knowledge, and I am very blessed to have learnt so much from Samira who has now passed on his passion of this beautiful sport to me. I felt very safe and assured in his hands. You could definitely tell he was a veteran coach.

Bardzo bardzo polecam tą szkołę! Nauczyciel bardzo miły, daje dużo rad i jest niesamowicie pomocny! Jeśli chcesz złapać pierwsze i kolejne fale to koniecznie z nimi :D
