I attended Ajanta Chakraborty's presentation at the National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME) this past week in Anaheim, California. Her break out session/seminar taught me how to figure out what groups needed more representation in my own classroom. She gives step by step ways teachers can engage and teach students about different cultures in meaningful and fun ways. This professional development presentation gets teachers excited about teaching students about culture in age appropriate and kinesthetic ways!

Saw Ajanti with Bollywood Groove at a conference and wow! She is dynamic and inspiring! She is the pinnacle of edutainment--building cultural awareness while fully engaging and entertaining her audience. (Imagine a group of librarians on their feet dancing along with Ajanti!) We recently hired Ajanta for our corporate Diwali celebration, and she was fantastic! Her enthusiasm and high energy set a vibrant tone for the event. She led us through a unique presentation on the different days of Diwali, using dance to illustrate each day’s significance. This interactive approach, with lots of audience participation, was a huge hit, as many attendees joined in to dance along.
Ajanta’s professionalism stood out from the start—she answered all of our questions in advance, was fully prepared, and stayed patient when we experienced minor delays. The highlight was her guiding us through individual dance moves and then combining them for a final group performance. The employees were thrilled, and we received multiple compliments afterward. We’d absolutely hire Ajanta again for future events!

Anjata is phenomenal! She came into my class and did a wonderful interactive reading that taught the students about Diwali through dance! The students and I enjoyed the lesson and have been talking about it since then! I would absolutely recommend her to any one who is interested in learning about Bollywood groove and culture. Ajanta did a Diwali program for our library and was great! Kids and caregivers alike shared their delight with the program with me. She shared the celebration of Diwali with our community through a multimedia presentation, interactive dance, and brought items used in the celebration for everyone to touch and experience. It was a fun, interactive, and engaging cultural program.

We were honored to have Ajanta Chakraborty present to our grade school last Friday. She educated the children about the five days of the Diwali while incorporating a dance that tied to each days. This dance kept the children engaged and the anticipation and excitement grew as it was fun for them to stand up and learn/perform the next dance move. The final dance with all the moves was a blast to watch! The kids cheered with joy! She also did a wonderful job of allowing the kids to ask questions and engage in her presentation. I witnessed so many smiles. Ajanta is beyond gifted! She is fun, energetic, creative, commanded the attention of young students (K-5th grade), patient (when needed) and very informative. I highly recommend her!

We had Bollywood Groove/Mrs Ajanta for our daughters birthday party and it was amazing! Mrs Ajanta created so much excitement for everyone including many parents that never were expecting to dance and play Holi. I highly recommend Bollywood Groove for you next event!

Ajanta came to do an Indian Dance & Culture Workshop for kids at my library. She had so much energy that I was tired just watching! She was able to keep the kids engaged the whole time while teaching them about different aspects of the Holi Festival. In the process the kids learned a dance that they put together at the end. We would love to have Ajanta back in the future!

We had a group of young kids. Ms. Ajanta's energy was infectious. Even the reluctant one stayed for the whole program. Her way of describing Indian culture was simple, highly visual, and bubbly. She was very good at engaging the kids. Even the parents got into the dancing.
