Just recently attended the Fall Equinox session in the Wichita Mountains with Brennen. She is an excellent teacher, leader and organizer. Highly recommended!

What an adventure! The Milky Way, Star trails, even an appearance of a Meteor. Going up and up to Sam's Throne, the wonderful cabin and of course the quaint town of Jasper. Brennan held classes on editing and stacking all our photos and we shared some wonderful tips.If you are interested in night sky photography I would definitely recommend her.

I just completed my 5th workshop with Brennen Nicole Photography. Brennen is the best instructor I've ever worked with. In her workshops you can feel how much she LOVES teaching and watching you succeed. She has a passion for meeting you where you are on your photography and post processing knowledge level - with whatever gear you have - with no judgment. She truly multiplies your knowledge. She also has a unique talent to make you feel so welcome. There is truly no dumb question in her workshops. She has many hours in the field shooting at the locations she hosts in and is an expert at planning and executing a photoshoot. She freely shares her knowledge and all the lessons/tips/tricks she has learned through her own experiences to help you increase your own abilities exponentially. Her background in graphic design shines through and so evidently helps her eye for photography. If you are on the fence about investing with Brennen, don't hesitate. She takes care of every detail and every student to free up your mind to learn and practice hands on. I look forward to more workshops with her.

I attended a Milky Way workshop given by Brennen. I am new to photography and this was my first time using an actual camera and Brennen was patient and very helpful. I am also new to stacking and editing software and Brennen provided great detailed information both during and after the workshop. I highly recommend her.

I attended a New Mexico Nightscapes workshop in New Mexico's Bisti Badlands area led by Brennen Nicole Photography. I must say Brennen Nicole is pleasant, knowledgeable and fun. She is willing to share her expertise and help whenever she can but is enjoyable to work with.

Brennen's NM Nightscapes workshop was a blast. This was my 2nd workshop with Brennen. She is always well prepared and knows exactly where to go and when to be there (a lot of advance scouting on her part). Very helpful with advice on any aspect of your photography and a very nice person. I hope to go out with her again soon.

First of all, I learned a lot about Nightscape photography by actually DOING IT under the supportive leadership of Brennen as well as from genuine suggestions, help, and sharing from the other participants – all of whom were several stages advanced beyond my beginner status. Not only was the content of the learning focused and appropriate, but the comradery was genuine, the locations were simply awesome, and my fellow participants were all in! Everyone was willing to share and encourage, and this was consistently modeled by Brennen and Shannon. The post-processing editing sessions in the early afternoon were challenging, but extremely helpful. Brennen and Shannon were patient and attentive, and the PDF handouts covering the sessions were much appreciated. I was incredibly impressed by the thoughtful level of organization and planning that was required to execute the workshop schedule and multiple locations. Brennen is contagiously committed, enthusiastic, and energetic (when does she sleep?!), and she makes learning FUN! Lastly, I’ve stayed at a lot of Comfort Inns and Suites across the country, but none has matched the level of service and support provided by the staff and management of the Comfort Suites in Farmington NM (our base of operations). Again, kudos to Brennen for selecting this excellent hotel! Brennen is remarkably patient and nonjudgmental, still, I suggest if you consider yourself a beginner, you will have more fun if you arrive with good familiarity with manual operation of your camera and its accessories in the dark – even practicing in a closet would be helpful! Given how much I learned; how much I advanced in nightscape photography skills (in just three days); how much I relished the fantastic locations; and how much fun I had; I give the New Mexico Nightscapes workshop 5 stars at every level! Thank you, Brennen, Shannon, and all of the participants for making it so.

I'm just back from a fabulous workshop in NW New Mexico, led by the incomparable Brennen Nicole. Brennen flawlessly handled every detail of our night sky oriented workshop. Lodging was perfect. Brennen obtained appropriate permits for wonderful, magical, carefully researched sites, provided tips on composition, capture techniques, and camera settings in the field. The sessions in the hotel conference room on processing were exceptional. Brennen made sure attendees "got it," from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop, learned some new things, got some keeper images, and highly recommend workshops led by Brennen Nicole.

Not only is Brennen a fabulous photographer, she is an excellent teacher of photography as well. She prepares and scouts in order to fill every minute of your time together with rich experiences and information that will improve the quality of your photos, beginning where ever you are in your photographic journey. She is a kind, patient, and understanding adventurer!
