Buyer Beware !!!!! I've heard so much about the Tapa Tuesdays I decided to celebrate my wife's birthday there on Tuesday. I was raining like crazy and we were looking forward to good food , drinks and ambiance. I called multiple times to confirm the menu and specials but nobody answered the phone. As we were seated, I asked the waiter about the best tapas. He suggested a few and we figured we'd try them all since we planned to be there most of the evening. As we began to order drinks, we were limited on the drinks we could order due to short staff . We ordered some frozen drinks and after we received our drinks, the waiter was ready to order our food. We asked for the $7.00 Tapa Tuesday specials but were informed it was canceled. Mind you I checked the website and it did not mention the cancelation at all. I drove in from Long Island in traffic and horrible weather just to be told "Their $7.00 Tapa Tuesday was canceled" !!!!!!! Needless to say I will not be taking the chance on their brunch specials. They may cancel that last minute as well. Great TickTock Hype but not worth the chance.

The food was so good. The black rice was everything. The pork was top notch. Our waitress was too slow for us, but everything was great. I recommend this place any day any time

You can not go wrong here. The food is delicious like so so so so good. Never hit and miss straight hits out the ball park the atmosphere and service are superb. Lovensky was my attendant and his service is outstanding!! 5stars are not enough

I liked it better before the renovation, now it’s a money pit. They only care about esthetic and taking your money . Walked in , sat at bar . Was not greeted , no bartender present, no hostess. Nothing. Instead someone was there taking pictures of food to upload instead of tending to actual customers. Walked right out dnd went around the corner to another place that was packed, immediately was tended too sat down and had the best drinks and time.

This place was awesome bartender was so sweet attentive and spot on but definitely mistook my charger for theirs….i

The chef worked his magic. The food was amazing. I loved everything from appetizers to main course!!!

I got the wings and fries. They were okay. I went on a weekday and they didn’t have many food options to choose from so I went either the wings. The waiter was nice. Food came quickly. The early 2000’s hip and R&B playing.

Don't go here. Don't waste your time or money. I made reservations for a birthday brunch. Confirmed with an email. I had to make a 250.00 deposit. When we arrived no one greeted us. We were the second party to arrive just as they opened. The girl at the bar was nasty. Rum punch was in a container looking like it was sitting there from the day before. We waited 30 to be seated and the place was empty. The music was on blast and the place was empty. We had to yell at each other and we're at the same table. The food was horrible.The food was cold. The whole party was sick. Our stomachs were messed up for days. And the baby had to go to the er. Don't order the jerk wings. Salmon with grits had lime squeezed on top. Dry French toast,dry waffles. The chicken was soggy. The sauce is hiding the sourness On the jerk wings. Another party sent their order back and they didn't offer to replace them either. On the way out we stopped at the bar for a shot. That nasty chick they have there behind the bar should be fired. Two women at the bar also said she has a nasty attitude. We asked to speak to a manager. They didn't attempt to get them. They just said they they were busy. It's obvious they don't care about the customers. And have the nerve to add the tip to bad service and old food. The only plus was when the DJ came he was on fire. Go for the music the food will have you on the toliet.

10 out of 10 ! The staff were very personable , our food came out fast , the drinks were well crafted and I literally cannot wait to go back to try their dinner menu .

When I first got in a place, I spoke to a male bartender. He was very standoffish and I feel like because I wasn’t a young girl with a bunch of makeup and he didn’t want to wait on me. Then a young lady came over. She was extremely nice great conversation, so the women’s servers were excellent so I really don’t know what should I get for a server because that male baldheaded bartender he wasn’t good at all was horrible

Generously giving this place 2 stars as the rest of my dinner guest said they deserved 1. Visited this place for the first time yesterday and I was so upset I had to write a review as this is a 1 and done visit for me. Look/Atmosphere: The restaurant looks cute but idk why you have bench seating for ppl to dine that has no cushion. I was seated in that area and it was uncomfortable. The bar seating need to be replaced because many of them don't have a foot rest. It's not good to have people's feet dangling for a long period of time. The overall theme looks cute but they need to fix their seating. Food: The guava chicken and plantain was good. Everything else we had was edible. Most of the food ordered was given to us cold or barely warm which made it unenjoyable. SERVICE: Absolutely horrible. When we were seated it took almost 10 mins for the waiter to even come over to take our order. We weren't even asked what we wanted to drink he just rushed right to food. That is the first I've ever experienced that at any restaurant. We had to say we want drinks first and he looked annoyed by that and walked away with an attitude to get it. When we ordered all our food at the same time and yet they were all delivered at different intervals. Now I'm not saying to where there is 1 waiter with 2 hands bringing them out 2 at a time (that would be understandable) but I'm talking 20+ minutes apart. I ordered plantains with the oxtail Mac and cheese received the plantains 20 mins after ordering I didn't get the oxtails until an hour and a half after ordering. My other party guests had their various items delivered 20+ minutes apart and the food was not even hot. I seems like the food was ready and waiting for someone to pick it up. I love supporting small especially black businesses but this one is the type that gives them a bad name. It gives an upscaleish look but it has ghetto service. If they did not put that 20% tip on the receipt there would not have been a tip

I first went to Brooklyn Beso in July and had a great experience. The restaurant was spotless and had a fun atmosphere! I got the oxtail pasta, which was so delicious, I will be back!

Service was horrible . Walked in wasn’t greeted , waiting over 30 mins to be seated and we had reservations. Bartender attitude was HORRIBLE , she wasn’t nice at all . A group of ladies who also was sitting at the bar said the same thing after I complained to my family . Ask to speak to a manager , worker told us that he was “ busy at the moment “ . Pitcher of rum punch was very watery . My daughter slipped and fell after they mopped and didn’t have NO wet floor sign up . I would never go back here again and now me and my family of 5 has a stomach bug after being at this restaurant, including my 2 year old daughter .

I usually have a great time here, but this visit was a miss. The back left booth seats were not stable. Most of what we wanted on the menu for brunch was not available. Our server was great and very professional. He tried to salvage our experience, which did not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

My family celebrated my Sisters 60th Birthday last night. One bartender, but he made up for it, drinks were decent. Food looked decent as well but some food was not fresh, most had the runs this morning. Very outdated and dirty place. While waiting to use the ladies room. There were dirty dishes, a pail full of dirty fluids right next to the bathroom door. The bathroom dirty, even the soap pump was dirty, No paper towels to dry your hands. Flamingo old outdated wallpaper, dirty heaters plugged in and hanging over tables were you eat. The owner needs Chef Ramsey and Bar Rescue to come and do a serious makeover of this place. Need to get back to how it was when they 1st open years ago. 👎

The food is sooo good, especially the house favorite, Oxtail Mac and Cheese (yum!) I have been dining here for the past 2 years and have seen so much improvement in menus, the drinks, the decor, and the service.
