Cory came out to give us a design for some landscaping at our home. He took our check and I called several times and left many messages, but never heard anything back. Not having an address is a red flag, in hindsight. Buyer beware! I will use Odd Jobs now going forward.

This crew did an excellent job designing and building our patio landscaping. Based on the results, our only regret is that we did not complete this task sooner. Very professional company to work with.

Brookstone just completed our big backyard project and we couldn't be more blown away with the results! Between Tim's eye for design and Kory's crew's hard work, our boring lakeside yard is now an entertainer's dream. All those involved were readily available to answer questions, offer creative ideas and provide great attention to detail. We just can't stop admiring our new gas firepit, stone stairway and stunning outdoor kitchen. Many years of fun are in our future for sure!

SARAH WILCOX POST IS A FRAUD!!! THAT IS MY HOUSE AND NEVER WOULD RECOMMEND TIM WHITE!! We had a French Drain put in our backyard after the patio, grill, and firepit were installed by Mr.White. The French Drain installers showed us the gas line to the firepit runs THRU the backyard AND only a few inches below the surface. We will have to have it reburied correctly next spring. Also, the lighting for the steps and pathways has only lasted a year. Will be having that fixed as soon as locate an electrician to fix. Don't trust him to come replace any trees that die....will never happen.

Brookstone designed and built a great paver patio for us. Very impressed with Tim's design expertise and artistic flair. Best patio in the sub-division! They installed an extra where there is a sprinkler drip loop in the planter bed. Also, took care to replace the grass/sod that was damaged and also to move the sprinkler lines (not many companies do this). Thanks, Tim!

This is a long term review from a job completed five years ago (July 2015), so that you can consider the big picture before hiring Brookstone. We hired Tim to landscape the front of our newly built home, and install both a paver path to the back yard and a two level paver patio. Tim also sold us on removing the builder installed concrete walk to the front door and install pavers. We were impressed with the design and the price was within our budget. The initial crew was on time and seemed professional. Tim recommended some changes to the job during the job and we agreed. Specifically, he suggested we reallocate some of our budget from one of the sets of steps for the patio to a “seating wall” on the patio. He also recommended one of the plants we had agreed on - a hydrangea tree - be moved to the backyard instead of the front, and a river birch that we had planned for in front of the front walk be placed behind the walk closer to the house (more on this later). He had logical reasoning and we agreed. We were largely happy with the initial work. I even served as a reference as Tim had several people come look at the work he did on our house as a sales tool. The only flaw I could see was that the pavers on the side walkway were not square to the house. The path is square but the pavers themselves were not, so when the pavers were cut for the soldiers to be placed, there is a repeating angled pattern instead of it being straight. Probably no-one but me notices but it’s one of those things you can’t unsee. After the work was done (except for sealing the pavers as they were still efflorescening) we immediately starting having water problems in the backyard despite a visible slope to our yard. Between that and the desire to have a few additional boulder lined landscape beds added, we hired Tim again the following year for the beds and the drainage. The new boulders lining the new beds were not placed nearly as well as the first project, one of the beds was supposed to essentially be a symmetrical triangle in a fenced corner and they had one side off by nearly 18” inches in length compared to the other. And the drainage solution they installed for thousands of dollars helped slightly but did not solve the issue. And they never sealed the pavers. Worse, on the second job, they had to remove and replace sod as they dug out for a drywall. When they reinstalled the sod there was a crown that actually made the drainage worse. I had to involve my attorney before Tim would fix it - though he finally did. However, part of that agreement was that he would complete the sealing of the pavers by 9/1/2017, which never happened. Back to the 5-year-review. 1) I never did get Tim to come back and seal the pavers (despite paying for it). 2) They came back the second year to fix some settling issues on the raised patio, but the patio has continued to settle and 5 years in it rolls like a tough golf green. 3) the design changes didn’t work. Despite annual professional maintenance, the birch tree is already too large for where it was placed and it will have to be moved or removed to prevent damage to the house. It also blocked all of the sunlight to the flowering shrubs placed on two sides of it, so they have barely flowered, getting worse each year as the tree grows. I’ve consulted an Arborist about the tree and he tells me it never should have been planted in that location. 4) sections of my fence that were removed for access by their equipment were not properly reinstalled and have had to be reinstalled again. 5) The “pop-up” drain tubes they put in for my gutters don’t allow enough water flow to handle heavy rains. 6) They replaced sod after the second job due to tearing up the lawn going back and forth with a skid steer, and four years later you can still see a difference where it was done. Just five years after having a new construction hardscape and landscape completed, I am having to spend thousands of dollars to repair all the things that were done incorrectly.

I would highly recommend this company. It is truly Tim’s passion. They turned our yard into something that can be enjoyed everyday. Korey and the team were very professional and hard workers

Called Brookstone after seeing a neighbor of ours have there entire landscape redone, decided we needed a facelift. Tim came right out and looked at our project was very prompt with his quote and his team started the project on time. Tim, suggested led lighting throughout our front beds and pathway changed our entire home. We are going to have Brookstone continue this season with our back pool and outdoor kitchen project.

Brookstone Landscaping, came out for an estimate regarding a paver patio and retaining wall project. Came within our budget and design including built in bonfire pit with seating wall. Tim, Recommended lighting really sets the space off and keeps it safe for our little ones.

Brookstone's team goes the extra mile. True professionals who make sure they take the time to explain all of the options/pricing available. Tim was very responsive to any questions and the pricing was more than fair. The job was completed on time and on budget. I got several quotes for my house in Birmingham, and ended up going with Brookstone. Removal of old plants, retaining wall, french drain, decorative stones, rejuvenation of the grass, and new trees & flowers. I can't say enough good things! Job well done.

They came today and done a wonderful job putting insulation in my attic above the garage. The two gentlemen that came were supper nice and cleaned up afterword. Recommend this company for any insulation jobs.

Brookstone Landscape did an outstanding job with our landscaping. The crew was very professional and know what they are doing. They are very clean, thorough and pay attention to detail. The manager, made visits each day and answered any questions and updated us on the progress. We have already recommended Brookstone Landscape to our community and family.
