Had a fantastic time diving with Julian! Everything was perfect—from picking us up from our accommodation to preparing and carrying all our gear and ensuring well-organized dives in cold weather. The gear was clean, and Julian made sure we stayed warm with thick wetsuits. The thoughtful touch of hot tea and snacks was much appreciated. I’m definitely coming back and highly recommend diving with Julian. Thanks, Julian!

the trial dive with Julien was a great experience for my son and me. We felt very safe and Julien took care for our wishes and needs. The location selected is a great place to get a glimpse of the stunning underwater world of Okinawa.

Had 3 great dives with Julien. A small dive shop with small group. On a small boat but a lot of fun! I saw so many new things today, really easy going.

I recently completed my Open Water 1 course with Julien at Bubble Addict in Okinawa, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very first inquiry about the course, Julien was incredibly communicative and responsive. As someone who tends to overthink and research everything (especially when it comes to safety), I was immediately put at ease by his professionalism and attentiveness. He took the time to answer all my questions and ensured I was fully informed every step of the way. Julien was also extremely accommodating to my tight schedule, working with me to fit the course into my limited availability, which I really appreciated. During the training itself, his calm demeanor and clear expertise put me at ease in what could have been a stressful situation. He balanced being relaxed yet in complete control, always prioritizing safety without ever making me feel rushed or anxious. What really stood out, though, was his friendly and lighthearted nature. Julien’s sense of humor and approachable attitude helped create an environment where I felt comfortable from the start, which made learning to dive not only easy but genuinely enjoyable. And if that wasn’t enough, his homemade cookies after the dives were the perfect treat to end each session! I’m so grateful to have found Julien and Bubble Addict—it’s truly the best place to do your Open Water 1 course. I couldn’t have imagined a more rewarding and enjoyable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Julien and his team to anyone looking to dive in Okinawa. You won’t find a better instructor or a more welcoming place to learn!

Julien was amazing as well as his staff are amazing. Dove with him on many occasions with groups and always had a blast. Great introduction to open water diving in some of the Pacific’s best waters. Highly recommend to experienced and new divers looking to enjoy Okinawa’s marine life.

Realy nice diving experience far from the « factory like » dive center, safe and so much fun

I dived with Julien for 8 days straight end of September, Okinawa is simply stunning. Loved the small family run diving operation that Julien has with his wife. This is not your typical tropical diving trip. For me it was the perfect adventure. Felt 100% safe at all times and had a lot of fun. I would say, it was probably my most interesting dive experience so far. And yes the cookies are incroyable!!! #coconut It‘s five stars from me. Cheers from grey and cold Berlin / Germany.

Je vous recommande vivement de venir plonger avec Julien ! Le contact a été rapide et efficace, on avait toutes les informations nécessaires en temps voulu. Nous étions deux a plonger : moi débutante et mon ami qui avait déjà des niveaux paddi. Julien a vraiment pris en considération nos expériences passés pour que tout se passe bien et m'a aussi très bien aidé dans mes petits moments de stress. Il a été patient et à l'écoute. La plongée en elle meme était merveilleuse, on a pu voir pleins d'espèces différentes. Ça restera une magnifique expérience gravée dans nos têtes ! Merci encore à Julien

Getting my OWD course with Julien and is my first time diving, i am of course very nervous and overwhelmed with each safety drill and first time deep dive Julien is superb and professional instructor. i just felt so safe with him. My Hubby and i did 5 dives with him. me getting better and confident with every dive, T.R.U.S.T is what u need to give to Julien if u want to do diving in Okinawa for beginner. and yes, all the dive sites were AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL….. Thank you Julien….

Was für ein tolles Team! Ich bin zufällig auf die "Bubble Addicts" gestoßen und bin mehr als happy damit! Sogar abgeholt wurden wir in der Früh, da wir als reine Backpacker leider kein Auto hatten. Zum Kennenlernen morgens gab es den besten Kaffee, den ich die letzten Wochen hatte, danach gings los zum Strand! Die Ausrüstung war top genauso wie mein Guide! Zu jeder Zeit hab ich mich sicher gefühlt und es wurde auf alle meine Bedürfnisse eingegangen! Zum Surface-Intervall gabs dann sogar noch leckeres selbstgemachtes Bananenbrot 😍 10/10 würde ich wieder kommen 👌🏼

Zufällig darauf aufmerksam geworden weil meine Freundin gerne tauchen wollte. Anfangs war ich als jemand der noch nie tauchen war nur zum schnorcheln eingeplant. Als wir dort ankamen und einen Kaffee mit dem Team tranken, entschied ich mich spontan um, doch das tauchen mal zu probieren, da das Team so unglaublich sympathisch war. Die spontane Idee war kein Problem und wir wurden zum Strand gebracht. Nach einer kurzen aber präzisen Einweisung hatte ich einen wundervollen ersten Tauchgang (wenn auch mit viel Regen an der Oberfläche). Vielen vielen Dank für die tolle Erfahrung, den Humor und den tollen Kaffee ;)

Super experience, c'était ma première fois et tout était bien expliqué ce qui m'a permis de ne pas stresser, j'ai pu voir plein de beau poisson et coraux

Première expérience de plongée incroyable. La communication était extrêmement facile et les instructeurs très humains et sympathiques. Je recommande fortement.

Super baptême de plongée avec Julien à 3! Très contente des exercices et des explications, tout en étant très zen :) Nous avons pu réserver le cours un peu au dernier moment sur un week-end très chargé

Julian from Bubble Addict Okinawa is a terrific dive guide. He's very personable, masterfully coordinated rental equipment for proper fit during the dive, and he's an amazing chef as well. If you're down to explore the depths, you will be in great company with Bubble Addict Okinawa...💪🏾🤿🫧
