For marketing themselves as a high end construction company, I never received a call confirming our meeting time and place. We showed up one hour early only to find out they don't open until 10am on Saturdays. That wasn't a great way to start the first impression.
Then we were treated like they could care less if they achieved our business. I wasn't impressed with the level of customer service the young fella gave us and won't be returning. He literally asked me "Do I have to put on a mask" as the very first thing he said to me as I walked in the door.
Your cabinets are gorgeous but to have to source my own fridge, grill, all outdoor appliances...no thank you. What a hassle. And to pay for quote when measurements weren't even taken and so on....your marketing stating "free consultation" is really not true.
Also I initially came in b/c of your amazing marketing materials on your garage man caves. However, there was absolutely nothing to touch and feel. I left with a bad taste in my mouth and feeling I absolutely wasted my time.
Maybe hire better sales execs or don't roll out your marketing materials until your space is ready.

Cabex/Cabinets Extraordionaire did two major remodels of our condo in downtown Sarasota. We have done several major renovations of houses where we lived all over the US. Cabex/Team has the best so far. We highly recommend Joe and his team.

This company and in partially Joe Clark, Joe Menna and Jerry Schanz, are a pleasure to deal with in terms of professionalism.
Having done several different remodeling over the years in Sarasota , I have yet to come across a home improvement company as professional as this company
The whole staff/owner should be very proud of the way they conduct business, a true refreshment when there are so many “bad” remodeling companies out there.
They also have an amazing showroom where you can actually touch and feel the product, coupled with an excellent designer staff
First class all the way is the only way I can describe this company

I contracted with Cabex Construction to renovate my laundry room and complete a few other small items as well. I primarily dealt with Jerry Schanz and Kerri Plazza. I can not leave any other rating other than awesome experience with either Jerry or Kerri. Kerri was very efficient, great communicator and followed through exceptionally well with her part of the project. Kerri and Jerry coordinated all aspects of the project flawlessly in spite of the pandemic issues. Jerry is at the top of my list of the most pleasant individuals I have had the pleasure to deal with. Always professional, great communicator, and "can do" attitude. Once the project ended, I felt like I had a new friend. Their tradesmen, Vic and Sonny were exceptionally skilled at anything they were required to do. They were also trustworthy. I felt perfectly fine leaving any of these men in my home when I had to leave for an errand. I would recommend Cabex Construction (Cabinets Extraodinaire) without one bit of reservation and would definitely use them for another project.

I have had the privilege over the years of seeing many completed projects by Cabinets Extraordinaire. All the jobs I've seen were excellent quality in materials and workmanship. They are a very friendly and professional group of people. From the office personnel to the sales staff, project managers, and installers in the field, all take pride in the service they provide. A whole house remodel is quite an undertaking, but Cabex Construction helped to make it a seamless and exciting experience. The quality of work by all of their employees is superior. Communication was ever present, and they are very knowledgeable about design, planning and execution in a timely manner. Will certainly use them again should the occasion arise.
