This has been a wonderful, supportive, and helpful experience for our family. We never had a puppy before and I felt so out of my depth with one. She took him for a week and helped him learn how to hold his bladder and to stop barking in his kennel. She even offered support once we brought him home as well. I did lots of research, interviewed, and consulted with many trainers before settling on Let’s Train Dog. During my very first conversation with Jessie, she asked about us and our pups. While the other training programs felt so impersonal, it was refreshing to feel like our lifestyle and goals were being taken into account!
They were so accommodating from the get go and so communicative. Throughout the week, I received detailed updates on what and how my pups were being trained along with tips and guidance on how I could reenforce the training when my girls got home.
Before training, my sweet pups were willful and wild. Our walks were stressful and frustrating as my girls pulled and jerked at every sight and smell. There was SO MUCH nuisance barking. After a week at Let’s Train Your Dog, our walks have become enjoyable parts of our day. They are so much calmer. They are able to be redirected from unwanted behavior and able to focus on tasks unlike before. Jessie took the time to demonstrate corrective action and answer any questions I had.

After 10 days with Cindy and Jessie, we have a 10wk old lab that is potty trained, sleeping through the night and can relax calmly in his crate through family parties with kids screaming and babies crawling all around him. I got my first ever puppy, Beans, in February of 2020, so not only did I not know what I was doing, but all opportunities for socializing went out the window. In September of 2021 I made the decision to get my dog a friend, a sweet little guy I named Potato. I thought with the knowledge I had gained over the past year and a half that I was prepared, but then life stepped in and within a month I had a third dog, Cookie, that I rescued from a neighbor. Unfortunately, my third dog was ALSO an unsocialized covid dog, and she was very reactive to my other dogs. It’s been two long years of having my house split and not knowing if I was doing anything right.
Fast forward to this past October when I needed to go out of town and wouldn’t be able to bring any dogs with me: I had no idea what I was going to do with my pack of reactive dogs. When I found Let’s Train Your Dog I was so grateful to just have someone to care for my dogs, but I had no idea how much they would help all of us to learn and understand how to properly behave and interact.
During my trip I got constant updates and feedback about the dogs while I was gone, and Cindy and Jessie were, and continue to be, so sweet and encouraging. I have a much better understanding of how to manage and properly train my dogs, and they did a huge amount of work to get us going on the right path. The peace of mind during my trip knowing my dogs were safe, happy, and well taken care of was absolutely priceless, and the knowledge I now have is going to carry through to every dog I interact with from here on out. I’ve already had people compliment me on how well THEIR dog interacts with me!

Jesse was smart, thorough, communicative and worked very closely with my three year old Dobermann mix. He went to board and train for two weeks. The structure of this training for my dog helped to build his confidence and role at home. Even more- was the training that we can use at home with him moving forward. SO impressed with Cindy and Jessie!! I am a first time dog owner and had NO idea what I was doing. They helped me through everything! I loved the videos they sent us daily during his puppy school and the tips throughout the week specific to our dog to help us - things to watch for, what to do if he does a certain behavior, etc. I was definitely needy the first couple of days having him back home and they were available and quick to respond to any of my questions! We just got our 1 year old French bulldog back & we are so impressed with how much more behaved he is. Before LTYD he was very friendly, overly excited, & super hyper. It was super hard when we were home because he demanded so much of our time. We also were very embarrassed to have guests over because he would just jump & play with them & would be all over them & never leave them alone.
When we dropped rocky off we were worried he would be really stubborn since that's how he was at home. The training was AMAZING for him. He learned very quickly, we loved the daily feedback & videos we received from the LTYD team! We could tell he was responding well to the instruction & appreciated the communication knowing he was in good hands & getting tons of play time & never in his crate for long periods of time.
After the 2 weeks when he came home he was a new dog! The drop off went amazing & loved the hour one on one with the trainers to make sure he implemented all he learned while he was away. It's only been one day since he's been home but we are very impressed. He responds better to commands, is more chill, & more respectful!

We absolutely LOVED working with Cindy and Jessie. We have taken two dogs to them. We will use them for all future dog needs and will not go to anyone else. My puppy came home with better recall, better obedience with basic commands like sit and stay, definitely better at waiting in doorways. She is less demanding and more willing to be next to me while I work instead of on top of me every second. I understand her psyche better, so I can implement rules and consequences that she understands. She still has the attention span of a fruit fly, but she will not be a puppy forever. Jessi laid the groundwork for a really well-behaved dog, and has checked in to see how we’re doing so she can offer suggestions to make the transition to home more smooth. She’ll even come out and practice with us if my puppy struggles with some things.

Let’s train your dog helped my dog Theo in so many ways! When we brought him in he struggled with staying off our counters, jumping on people, walking on a leash, and other similar problems. After two weeks he has improved so much and they taught me how to continue helping him with everything he learned. I am now able to take him on walks without him pulling constantly. He is also sleeping in his crate all night without whining or barking. I’ve seen improvements in all aspects that I needed addressed with Theo and was so excited to see how much he’d changed.
