For clarity on this review from Mr."GoAway." He came into our showroom with his ex-wife who was picking some flooring for her project. He asked for a ballpark for tile flooring at the end of her meeting for his house, too, which is currently being rented by a tenant. He told us it would be about a year before he would do anything to the house. If they were concerned that they hadn't received a quote, most people would call, text, or email and say, "How's my quote coming? I realize no work will be done for a year, but I was hoping to get it by this such and such a date." In which case, we would make every effort to accommodate. It is far better to go about it that way than blast people online. When somebody isn't doing their job for a year, then yes, we take care of the current jobs first, and then when we find extra time; we take care of those things further out. The main reason I'm writing this is because Meiken is one of the NICEST people I know, and NOBODY at Capell Flooring is racist. We are proud of our team and the inclusive environment we have fostered. We hire subcontractors from not only the United States but worldwide, with various backgrounds, nationalities, etc. We believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity, regardless of their race, nationality, or background. Also, thank you Mr. "Go Away" for revealing your true nature. You are correct; we worked on a project for you before with a restoration company that treated us kindly. We have a few hard-fast rules at our business; one of them is that we treat people with kindness, and we feel our customers should also treat us with kindness. Follow the Golden Rule in both directions. Reading your other 1-star reviews for various companies on Google (if you are reading this, we encourage you to read his other reviews), the derogatory nature of them, name-calling, even fat-shaming, etc., and hiding behind a fake alias to name a few would fit under the "we don't work with you," because life is too short to work with unpleasant people. We are not perfect, and we readily admit that. We make mistakes, just like any other business. However, what sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Many of our reviews from previous clients highlight that we made mistakes, but we took the time to correct them, fix them, and make things right. We have a 5-star reputation and recently won Idaho's Best Flooring Store for five consecutive years because we care and try our best day in and day out to ensure our customers are happy with our service. For those reading this, let's all do better and see things for what they really are: that most people are good and trying their best, and we should have more tolerance for others as they try to do the right thing.
