Both my husband and I have known and received treatments from Dominick for a few years now, on and off, for different reasons, and we trust him when we need help with understanding the root of new chronic issues and heal from it. Dominick is a great listener, he doesn't judge you or your symptoms (as some medical practitioners do some times), he keeps an open mind, he is very kind and calm. He is dedicated to finding the root cause and helping his patients heal holistically. In the past, we have seek help from Dominick with digestion issues, and my husband for back issues, neck and shoulders. This year, after feeling chronic pain for over 9 months with tennis elbow and neck/shoulder pain, which affected me day and night, (whilst seeing my family doctor and also receiving regular massage therapy treatments), I decided to give Dominick a call. As a result, I am currently receiving my 5th treatment with Dominick, and seeing some very positive healing. I am finally getting my muscle strength back, getting more sleep and less to no pain some days. Dominick is really good at what he does, he understands the body, both muscular, skeleton, digestive, and ties it all together to help the body heal more effectively.

I went to see Dominick for my daughter (10 y) who has been complaining from severe pain in her hips, legs and feet. After the first session, my daughter's pain almost disappeared. After a couple of sessions, my daughter was feeling much better - almost pain free - and had more energy ! Dominik is a wonderful osteopath. He was right away able to identify the source of the problem and recommended an easy and practical solution that we implemented. The result was amazing! He is highly professional, kind and gentle! He always made sure that my daughter was comfortable during the treatment and that she had the proper follow-up (including urgent appointments)! I cannot say enough about Dominick’s positive impact on my health. I suffer from arthritis and general inflammation that had been debilitating. In 2015 he helped me eliminate foods that were causing my inflammation, and within a few weeks I went from barely walking to running and boxing. I lost at least 20 pounds and my health got significantly better in several ways. I only needed two sessions with him! Years later I started suffering from severe pain in my neck and back - I did several medical test, chiropractic, Physio etc and no one could help me. So I went back to Dominick. Within five sessions I have not felt significant pain again. It felt like a miracle. Dominick is kind, patient, trustworthy and doesn’t nickel and dime you nor has he ever tried to sell me supplements or anything else. He is a compassionate and wonderful healer. I only recommend that you come to him with an open mind as some of his practices may seem unconventional but yield life changing results.

Dominick has an intuitive sense of reading the body and identifying the areas that need to be remedied. The diagnosis and remedies are beyond identification of the surface issues and his aim is to correct the root of the problem. He is gentle in his manner and works according to the needs of the patient.

Dom is a fantastic osteopath and functional health practitioner. He’s helped me through loads of diet-related issues and always gets me back to being “fighting fit”. Can’t recommend him highly enough!

I always go to Dominick when I am in acute pain. I know I should not wait that long but that's me. Anyway, he always fixes me so quickly and efficiently it's like magic! Been following him for years now.

Dominick Hussey is a quack. He is NOT qualified as a functional medicine doctor and anyone who goes to see him for functional medicine is wasting their hard-earned money in desperate hopes of getting help. He advertises himself at Ottawa Holistic Wellness as a "functional medicine" doctor but when I met with him and asked about his qualifications, he told me that he attended a ONE week "workshop" for functional medicine and that he reads a lot of "health blogs" to be a functional medicine doctor. I was so sick and so at the end of my ropes that I sought out functional medicine and asked to be properly tested with functioning lab testing that he advertises as available through his practice. But he dismissed it and even discouraged me from getting tested. Instead, he makes you lie down on a bed and hold bunch of unknown tubes and guesses at your diagnosis. He barely explains what he's doing and he doesn't even tell you what exactly he found through his "testing." He is not transparent nor communicative, which makes you think that he doesn't know what he's doing or that he's hiding something. In fact, when I directly asked him questions about his diagnosis and methods, he stuttered and told me "I am not going to tell you that." At my first visit, he diagnosed me with something then told me to come back because there are ways of treating it. When I did go back, he blankly told me that he doesn't know how to treat this condition and that he needs to refer me to someone else. He never did refer me to anyone and never gave me any proper medical treatment. I spent hundreds of dollars at his clinic because I was so unwell and all the money, energy, time spent there was a complete waste. I feel robbed and scammed. Hundreds of dollars that resulted in nothing, told me nothing, didn't help me in anyway, after he had told me to come back because he has treatment. Not only that, his evasive, non-communicative, and dismissive attitude even bothered me more. He is a liar and should not be listing his qualifications as a functional medicine doctor.

I first went to see Dominick with my 4 year old daughter who had daily stomach pain. Our family doctor told us that it should pass by the time she's 10. We refused to let her suffer for another 8 years. In the first visit, Dominick identified the issue, what caused it (strong antibiotics that she was given the year before) and a remedy. I was flabbergasted to say the least. Within 6 months, she was much healed. She's now 9 years old and is still pain free. There is no doubt in my mind that Dominick has a special gift. He is very knowledgeable and good at what he does. I have recommended him to many of my friends and will forever be grateful for healing our daughter.

From the beginning, he patiently took the time to identify the root of the problem causing pain in my foot. This allowed him to focus on treating that, rather than suggesting temporary fixes.
