Diving with Captain hooks was a great experience. We arrived right after hurricane Helene, which stirred up the waters quite a lot and that wasn’t good visibility wise. The first days dives got rescheduled, but eventually the waters cleared up and we could made our first drives, Looe reef is and awesome dive spot with tones of fish to spot. our last dives were in key west where we had a wreck dive on the Vandy, waters were very clear by that time and we could see the wreck from the surface. The crews of all three locations are awesome and very very helpful and experienced, a special shout out to the following crew members, captains Ron and Evan, divemasters Alyssa, Mark, Bill and Steve and first mate Shelby, thanks the trip was great, but you guys made it awesome!

Great dive shop with excursions. We did the reef dive (2 dives). Pricing was more than reasonable. We were asked to be there 1 hour before the trip. Check in and equipment setup was fast and easy. Crew were super friendly and helpful to the 8 divers on the trip. Dive was scheduled for 8:30am-12:30 pm. We were back by 11:30 given the efficiency of the crew (no time was deducted from the two dives we did). We’ll be back!

Just got back from getting certified as a scuba diver. Captain Hook’s Marina and Dive center was the absolute best! The crew was professional and fun! Lisa was my instructor and was one of the finest teachers I ever had. Thank you so much for 4 great dives and the most fun ever!!!

Atmosphere and selection are great always try to stop here when I'm in the Keys

My wife and I dove with Captain Hooks 4 years ago, so when it came time to take my 2 kids who are newly certified divers I decide to drive a little further to dive with a company I trusted. Although it was new staff the services were perfect like before!! Captain Daniel and ALYSSA the dive master were phenomenal making sure everyone was safe and taking extra care to make sure my kids (10 & 12) had a fantastic experience!

We got our diving instruction for captain hook. They got us in after our flight was delayed several times. The instructor where incredible David and Vince you rock.

My husband and I scuba dived with Captain Hook's Marathon last Thursday. We had a great time! During the first dive, the visibility was not that great but the second dive at Barbara's reef more than made up for it! We saw several BIG nurse sharks, a huge moray eel, and tons of different fish! Extra special shout out goes to our dive master Alyssa! She was super motivated to find the "cool stuff" for us and we could tell that she was enjoying the dive as much as we did! Definitely recommend Captain Hook's!

We chose this dive shop because they had 2 locations, one close to Marathon where we were staying and one in Big Pine that takes you out to Looe Key. I wasn't that impressed with the Marathon operation. There were ALOT of people on the boat, the majority were snorkelers which seemed to impact where we dove. The dive was SO shallow and yes, I'm aware the reef is shallow in the Keys. The dive master was new and I don't think he knew the reef very well. On the first dive, we circled the same area (under the boat) 3 times. He kept going up and over the reef such that we ended up bobbing on the surface to get over. For the second dive, we didn't even change location so I have no idea why we even came up. They gave us about 5 minutes to change over our gear and jump back in to see the same thing we just saw. It was too rushed ! The impression I was left with was the typical cattle boat mentality, get as many people on the boat, take them only as far as you have to and get back to the shop so you can do it all again.
