Great place to visit. Happiness being the core theme of the hosts, I would recommend anyone who love to have peaceful, great time at Carlton House..it has old world charm yet fully functional with modern amenities. Ashish and his family are a great hosts. Keep up the good work

We went for our daughter's first day with all our extended family and we had a quality time. Tasty home cooked meals in the open garden with so many different plants and patios and all different kinds of games indoors and outdoors, it wasn't luxury but it had a beautiful ambience we looked for. The hosts were like family. Entirely a serene experience and a hidden gem. The BBQ was a bit pricey for the veg and the blankets and kettle were not well maintained. Thankyou. We missed the sunset and river bank walk because of the rain. We'll come back for sure.

Food is basic but tasty & expensive. They charged rs. 950/kg for marinated boneless chicken which we used in barbecue. For this room quality 2850 per head is way too much. Overall good place for friend groups & I won't recommend for families.

Host are welcoming and good people. Got home made meal which was nice though we had very limited options. But you can always go to near by places. They also have common area for some of the rooms, also have options to play. Roam around and party as well. Do not expect luxuries of resort or rokm service, but if you are planning to spend some quality time in a nice place with home cooked meal. This is a go to place.

Major warning to people considering this property. If you want your weekend spoiled please go ahead. Sky view villa is an ultra scam .. 0 neatness and 0 luxury . It's their marketing gimmic that surprised me . They say they have a private waterfall .. do not believe. It's a fraud . We were truly disappointed .

Greetings maam, We humbly request you to forgive us in case you believe that we have not delivered upto your expectations. We are a homestay and treat all our guests as this is their home. We understand that your expectations might have been different yet we have gone out of the way to accomodate your requests. During your visit,it was peak summer, so the aeroplane stream was dry. We've had multiple groups enjoying their time there. As yercaud is a rain fed hill, sometimes the stream goes dry during the summers. Our homestay provides good stay and a healthy ambience for our guests. We are sorry to hear you believe that it's a scam while we went out of our way to host and ensure all your requirements are taken care of. Your group brought your own stove and gas and started cooking here which isn't in our policy. Our apologies, but that doesn't happen at our space. Regardless, we let it go. Our staff was humiliated and put to task after your group got drunk and abused them. This isn't the becoming of our esteemed guests. In any case, because we open our home to the world, we understand it takes all kinds to make the world work and accept your review with a pinch of salt.
