I recently used this service to get an estimate for selling my car, and the initial online quote was a bit higher than what I found at other places. During the form process, I provided a detailed description of my car’s issues, including a broken windshield, the need for new brake pads, and a small chip in the tailgate, along with detailed photos as requested. I scheduled a visit and was treated well by the staff in the lobby. However, after a brief inspection, they offered me a much lower price than the original online quote. The main reason cited was the brake issue I had already mentioned, which is about an $80 repair for new pads. I didn’t want to haggle, but I know how these cash-for-car places operate, and lowballing is part of the game. So, don’t fully trust all the glowing reviews you read. I had already decided to sell the car and didn’t want the hassle of doing it myself, but I wasn’t desperate either. The person who helped me was professional and very helpful. It’s a nice place, but keep in mind, they’re trying to get the best deal for themselves, which I understand. Just don’t expect the price they initially offer to hold up, especially if you mention issues beforehand, and be prepared for some haggling.
