Loved this place!! Absolutely loved it here. Came twice for drinks and dinner. Island feel, delicious food Friendly staff. Shout out to our fabulous bartender Alberto!! You won't be dissapointed!!

Fantastic food Calamari best I've had, wife enjoyed her mozzarella and little girl destroyed her chicken tenders, fantastic food . The only negative we were never asked if we wanted another drink so left after the food but it was fantastic well worth a visit

Ein kulinarisches Highlight. Super Hummer und Ceviche Wer heute noch denkt er macht mit einem Hummer ein Schnäppchen liegt falsch. Die Zeiten sind vorbei, aber wer einen guten, frischen Hummer essen möchte und bereit ist einen fairen Preis zu bezahlen, findet ihn im Castaways. Wir haben für einen echt großen Hummer mit Beilagen, Fischplatte etc. ohne Getränke ca. € 95.00 für 2 P bezahlt. Wir waren vollauf zufrieden. ein Rießending und prima gegrillt mit zerlassener Butter. Die Ceviche am nächsten Tag war übrigens die beste von den vieren, die ich in der DomRep probiert habe. Unbedingt probieren, wie auch die Hummersuppe nach meinem Dafürhalten ausgezeichnet gewesen ist. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt hier und wir haben alle AI Gäste bedauert. Der Verdauungsspaziergang am Strand entlang rundet das Dinner ab.

Loved this place!! Now this place is what you think when you think Caribbean!! We loved the vibe! Seriously does it get any closer to the ocean? ;) The drinks great thanks to great bartender!! The 2 shrimp appetizers we had delicious!! Had the pleasure of getting a chance to chat quickly to the sous chef super friendly guy!! You gotta try this place :)

Best food we had while in Punta Cana! We stayed at the Hard Rock and the best food we had during our vacay was HERE. Definitely order the lobstercargot, the fried mozzarella and the catch of the day (mine was grouper with coconut sauce). The best sides are yucca mashed (omg!) and the coleslaw. We topped it off with a housemade key lime pie. THIS PLACE. IS. AWESOME!

Amazing little gem! We went for the first time last night with a large group and this place is amazing! Driving up in the taxi, it didn't look like much but once we walked around the building the whole vibe changed and we felt like we were in paradise. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and the prices were perfect. The taxi drivers didn't seem to know the place and we had to show them the physical address, but don't let that deter you from checking this place out. We would have ate here more than once if we had more time on the island. We will be back again for sure!

Caribbean at its finest We walked to find a secluded beach and then found this little restaurant open for all people surrounded by the resort. We loved the food the staff and the ambiance. Best food we've had in the Dominicana.

So much fun! We’ve been all over the world and this is the coolest beach bar restaurant I’ve been to. Everyone is super friendly, fun loving, engaging and authentic. Castaways is an oasis in the middle of paradise. You genuinely feel like you found your cool place. You don’t have to check your inhibitions they melt away. We met a great couple of women from Minnesota there and had a ball. I hope they read this. Hi from Sam and Lois. So much fun!!! Mike, the owner, is from the states and used be the lead singer for the opening band for Charlie Daniels. How cool is that. Alberto, the bar tender, sets the vibe. So energetic, fun loving and engaging. He is the definition of cool and he’s infectious. The food in the restaurant area is delicious and unique. Thank you chef Lubin Castaways waitress is great, so friendly and helpful with food options. If you’re in this area of Punta Cana please visit Castaways you’ll be glad you did.

Great Beach Bar Was in Punta Cana staying with friends. This beach bar is the greatest. Mike, the owner, was very hospitable and professional. Alberto, our bartender had us in stitches all the time. Great food and a great time. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Try the Mini-Beers at the bar. You’ll love them.

Turned a rainy day into a great experience! 5 stars isn’t enough for this review. Alberto and Octavio took such great care of our group of 10. They brightened our rainy day with great service and a fantastic experience. They took pictures, let one of us “DJ” the music and joked with us the whole time. I highly recommend anyone in the area go there. The food was great and the drinks were also awesome.

Great birthday celebration with my family We went to castaways to celebrate my birthday with my family there were 10 of us We had great cocktails and i think we covered most of the menu Everything we ordered was fabulous cant believe the chef can produce such amazing food out of a small kitchen My son was in contact with the owner Mike online before we arrived and he organised a beautiful birthday cake for me We enjoyed ourselves so much we rebooked to return on our last night which was just as amazing A big thank you to mike and his excellent staff for helping myself and my family have a great birthday celebration

Best FishTacos in town My brother found this place for my moms 60th birthday while we was away and god was we not disappointed. BEST FISH TACOS IN THE DR! there was 10 of us in total incl 2 young ones - Mike and his team was fantastic at all times from great recommendations to incredible cocktails! we actually ended up coming back for our last night in the DR it was that good. 100% need to visit if your ever in town.

Highly recommend Fabulous whole friend grouper, coconut shrimp, fish and shrimp tacos! Amazing drinks too! Finding Castaways was literally the highlight of our trip after some rough days at the Grand Sirenis Resort. Thanks to Michael, Chef Lubin and all the servers and bartenders. Can’t wait to return one day?

Amazing views, food, and great service My family and friends went here while we were all on vacation at Breathless Resort. The food was PHENOMENAL. It was the best meal we had the entire week, and the lobster appetizer I had was probably one the most delicious things I've ever eaten. We have traveled to a lot of places and eaten a lot of food, but this place was memorable for sure. The chocolate dessert was to the die for as well, and the Carribean lobster was excellent. Not only that but I was shocked at how affordable it was. I really can't say anything bad about it. The owner is such a nice guy, so personable and friendly. My fiance and I had a beautiful walk back to the resort down the shoreline that night.

Amazing food & location We visited castaways for a family birthday as a group of 10 people. The location is amazing, right on the beech with stunning views across the ocean in the moonlight. The food was fantastic as well, nothing was too much trouble when we asked for a couple of changes to our order. Across the group we sampled quite a few different dishes from the menu and everyone loved the food, so much so we booked to go again before we left. Definitely highly recommended, if you’re in the area go, you won’t be disappointed.

Anniversary Celebration at Castaways will forever hold a place in our hearts! What a night! Castaways arranged a romantic dinner on the beach at my husbands request and covered all the details. What an amazing surprise! My hubby contacted them before we arrived in the DR. The owner, Michael, arranged everything! We arrived to flowers, white linens, and candles at a table on the beach. They had music and even a photographer! On top of all this it was a clear night with the moon reflecting off the water. You can’t beat toes in the sand while you celebrate your 25th anniversary. The staff welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived. And the food???? That was the absolute best in the DR!!! I had the filet and hubby had the shrimp. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Topped it off with bananas flambé and key lime that were nothing like we have ever had. Our hats off to the very talented chef. We will be back anytime we are in the DR. Castaways has a permanent home in our hearts! Thank you!!!!

UNREAL FOOD AND SERVICE Our family found this small gem on the beach when we went in search of decent food. This place does not disappoint. If you have made the mistake of booking at Grand Sirenis - where the food is bad. Venture down the beach to Castaways, you will not regret it!!

Exceptional Food, service and staff! Traveled to the Pinta Cana area for Christmas. Stayed on one of the resorts near by. Let’s just say the food is amazing the staff are even better and the environment is the best. Anybody looking for good quality cocktails, food and amazing music. This is definitely the place. I’ve traveled far and wide, this is definitely one of my favourite spots!
