Charlie's Angels Movers at first glance seems to have really glowing reviews. Based on what I read on Google, Yelp and elsewhere I would have never expected what went down this weekend. I recognize labor day weekend is one of the busiest moving weekends of the year but I couldn't have imagined they would overbook bad enough to treat paying customers like this. So, if you're anything like me and looking for a trustworthy moving company and automatically check for the most recent one star review, I want to give you the basics on what went wrong: - They tried to cancel our move on the day of. Basically the worst thing a moving company could do besides breaking all of your stuff. - Despite being very communicative ahead of the move, including gathering info on everything we needed and assigning us specific movers to "fit our profile", they never called us on moving day. - We were under the impression the movers were supposed to arrive at 1 PM. They were supposed to call 30 minutes ahead of arrival. When we hadn't heard anything by 12:45 we called up the office and spoke to Brian. He told us "oh no you didn't have them booked from 1 to 5 PM, they have an arrival window of 1 to 5 PM." My girlfriend and I both thought this sounded off based on her previous conversation with him, but in the moment chose to believe it. He says he's going to get an ETA and get back to us ASAP. - Hours go by, we hear nothing from Brian or any movers. We are moving 12 minutes away from our current house so we start taking over little boxes a few loads at a time in our cars, ready at any point to hear from them. - It's 4:30, still nothing. We call back Brian and he sheepishly admits that it's been "one of those days" and they have overbooked their movers. He asks if we can move tomorrow instead of today. - At this point, my girlfriend and I are freaking out. We have packed up all of our belongings and are supposed to be out by the next day (first of the month). Brian starts to back down and say he will do his best to get someone out to us today. - Someone calls us and says he can be out to our house in 2 hours (keep in mind at this point it is 5:30 PM). - A guy (not the mover we were originally assinged) shows up at 7:30 and says the truck is just minutes away. A few minutes go by. He says oh the truck accidentally arrived at the house we're moving into, he's on his way here now. The truck doesn't arrive for another 45 minutes. At this point I offered with the guy to cancel because we were afraid of moving all of our stuff in the dark. He insisted it would get done and we wouldn't be here until "after midnight". - Thankfully in that time, the one mover that was there had been moving stuff into the carport. This guy was mostly professional and seemed like he was doing his best under really bad circumstances. - From this point on the mover, the truck driver, and a third mover who was called in by the first guy to come help speed things along took about 3 hours to load everything up. - To speed this process along, my girlfriend and I disassembled our own bed. The exhausted movers were very complimentary. - We arrived at our house about midnight and wrapped things up at 1:30. We had to rebuild our own bed frame and didn't get to bed ourselves until about 3:30 AM. - Of course, a few pieces of furniture got damaged as well. We saw that coming. I want to clarify that I don't necessarily blame the movers who eventually showed up at my house. I recognize that they were put into a difficult situation by the people running this company who overbooked and overworked them. They could have been more professional but ultimately because of their boss's mistakes, we were all put into a situation that was rushed and stressful. One of them commented that Brian doesn't communicate with them either and that this sort of thing happens to them "all the time." Hardly the "angelic" stress-free situation that they advertise. Because of incompetent scheduling, and extreme lack of communication this was probably the most stressful move I've ever endured.

Charlie's Angels was wonderful during our whole move. Brian was very helpful in getting us a quick quote for our last minute move, and answering any questions that we had. On moving day Manny, Bryce, Lamont and Osshawn were quick, and got everything in and out safely and securely. They were all incredibly kind and helpful during a very stressful time. Will be recommending them to anyone who asks for movers.

OUTSTANDING ..

Charlie’s angels was incredible. This was the best move I have ever had. All these guys, and Osshawn who’s not pictured here, were incredible. We moved from Ga to Sc and everything was so breezy. The guys were great fun but worked so hard and so dang fast. Everything from the initial quoter to the final goodbye it was a professional and great experience.

Their team on each end of our move were skillful in their craft. I would contract with ‘em on my next move if any way possible.

I had to do a quick move and Charlie's Angels was able to accommodate my move. They made sure all my furniture was safely wrapped and taped. And then at the new house, they set the beds back up and moved furniture where I wanted it placed. Overall it was a great experience!

So Glad that I went with Charlie's Angel's. Osshawn, Brian, and David were amazing!!! I hope I don't need to anytime soon but when the time comes I will definitely use them again. Thank you for making my move a truly Heavenly Expierience :)

Sadly, I chose “All My Sons Moving” initially when planning my move. On the day of our move “All My Sons Moving” never showed up to move our stuff and my wife was literally in tears. I called “Charlie’s Angels Movers” and they were able to move our belongings the same day! I highly recommend “Charlie’s Angles Movers” for your next move! Stay away from “All My Sons Moving”.

Charlie's Angel Movers are the best in Atlanta. I have move few times and haven't found a good moving company, until a friend recommended Charlie's Angel's. They exceeded my expectations tremendously. Brandon and his team Jaleel, Dave, Kyle made my move heavenly as they say. The were quick, efficient, careful, and friendly. They even put furniture together and arrange the furniture how I wanted it in my new home. Truly grateful to found amazing movers. 10/10 recommend

They did an amazing job! Moving crew was nice and careful not to damage my stuff. They wrapped everything with a plastic wrap to prevent scratches. These guys know what they're doing and it shows! The best work for the best price! I'm definitely using them again the next time a move.

These guys were amazing. They were reasonable priced. They answered all my questions and sent email confirmations. Their customer service is remarkable. They went way above my expectations. They picked up furniture I purchased in Atlanta and delivered it to Dalton. They did exactly what I had ask them to do. I would highly recommend them for all your moving needs. I will use them again for sure.

Reloaded to Florida and I called several companies for a quote as we had a very unique schedule. They were the only ones to accommodate us without extra charges. Friendly from the start.. Brian was amazing, he answered my calls every time! I was so stressed .. but they made it so easy. My packers were friendly and were thoughtful of my personal belongings. The movers came and delivered with no incidents. Hire them if you have to move! The entire team was awesome!!’

I chose Charlie's Angels to move me from Georgia to Maine for several reasons. I like to support female owned businesses, they are locally owned and I felt a connection to them at my first contact. They were willing to hold a place on their schedule while I worked out the dates of my move. Brad Nichols, who would be the person driving my household to Maine, came to my home at my request to confirm that the items I was moving would fit into the truck and he did so without making me feel like I was asking for more than usually afforded to customers. On the day of packing up the truck all the Angels were polite, cheerful, hard working and so careful with my belongings. They took no breaks although the weather was very hot and humid that day. At the destination, Brad led the locally located people which resulted in the same experience as I had with the truck loading day. The workers, along with Brad, were careful, respectful and hardworking. I had no breakage despite the approximate 1400 mile drive. Through it all Brad was personable, responsive and so easy to work with. It was a pleasure getting to know him and I am so glad I followed my instincts and hired Charlie's Angels. I had complete trust in the company from day one which made the big move so much easier. I would recommend them to anyone considering either a local or long-distance move and would be happy to speak with a prospective customer personally to answer any questions they may have.
