For my first service, I was impressed by the work ethics of these young men. Also, they were respectable, punctual, and polite. They did a great job with the removal of my junk. I live in a 2lvl condo on the 3rd floor, so there's an additional flight of stairs. I want to support black owned businesses, and I recommended them because of my first service.

Now, I had a 2nd service. So, they were late. I completely understand that delays occur.

Then, there was a disconnect with communication e.g. to the price for my 2nd service, the time of appt, and cancelation of the appt.

When I got the 2nd appt, David gave a quote. So, I asked about the 20% discount that I got because of my 1st service. My question wasn't answered. I texted them 24hrs or so about the cost and charges again. There was no response.

On the day of the appt, I spoke with David. He seemed rude as I explained my changes to what I needed done from my original communication for the 2nd service, and cost.

For the quote, he stated that it included the 20%. How would I know that because I wasn't given an invoice nor did he realized that I was the resident of the 2lvl condo.

Now, he realized it before the day of my appt, but never texted or call to give that explanation until I called him on the day of my appt.

Let's get to another reason why I called David. I received an email to reschedule my appt. Ok, I understand the delay. Now, is my appt cancelled.

So, I called David. He was rude. He said, The system automatically generates the emails if the service is not rendered at the scheduled time. If that is the case and he knew Michael was running late. Why didn't he call me verse I called?

I am proud of these black men being entrepreneurs, but customer service and communication are essential to a successful business.

Based off of my latest interaction, I'm changing my view from 5 to 1 stars. Communication is imperative.

They were so courteous and got everything done fast! I received great service and highly recommend them.

Charm City Haulers was excellent and easy to work with. I texted to set up an appointment and got one set up right away. The team has great communication, was able to come early which worked with my schedule, and hauled away the furniture quickly. Very friendly and professional!

Charm City Haulers had availability on short notice (a couple days), showed up early (after calling to make sure that was cool), and had a big sleeper sofa out of our rowhome basement and into their truck in minutes, all at a fair price and with a pleasant demeanor. Would definitely hire them again.

I needed some old stuff removed from my garage as well as some home renovation junk that needed cleared out of my basement. Charm City Haulers did an excellent job. They were done in 25 minutes and the pricing was close to the rough estimate provided to me when I scheduled. Overall, good experience, no complaints. I have more work that needs done on my basement so I will definitely be scheduling again with CCH.

Update 11/8/24: I used CCH again to clear out junk from my basement project. Same great experience as before! On time and got the job done quick. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Charm City Haulers did a fantastic job with cleaning out my rental property! They were very easy to schedule, did thorough work, communicated easily and did everything quickly! The before and after photos are below.

I had fantastic service from Charm City Haulers. I needed to get my futon couch taken, and it was picked up in less than 2 hours from my phone call. The price was the cheapest, compared to some other companies, plus the whole situation was easy from start to finish. I mainly dealt with David, and he was incredibly friendly on the phone. If I need any help with hauling furniture (or any of their other many services) I know who to call!

Cam and Mike keep the Charm, in Charm City Haulers. This is the third time using the business and their customer service has only improved time after time. Not only are they extremely professional and positive, they are patient and understanding allowing time for me to process what items to hold onto, and what to let go of. Although I may be running out of jobs needed for their business, they will always be my #1 recommended choice for professional services. Thanks again guys!
