The Chimney Wizard was excellent and so highly skilled. He brought both our fireplaces up to code and installed 2 Priorfire Retro Fit Woodburning fireplaces, new stainless steel chimney caps with dampers and new chimney liners. He was punctual, efficient and so very neat. We can’t recommend him enough.

I had a 90 year old chimney that was the centerpiece of the house, but was also dangerously leaning. Several chimney "experts" had come and gone, unequal to the task. Most fortunately, I found Chris. He was able to address the root issues while maintaining the chimney's character. I was impressed by his attention to detail, touching on many things I had overlooked, while addressing several issues with the roof that were not part of the contract. It was also heartening to see his hard-working manner, very impressive - I know of few that would have been able to keep up with him. On top of it all, he was a pleasure to have around. A recommendation? Call him now.

A few years ago Chris did major chimney repairs, inside and out and the repairs have held. This year he installed a Napoleon fireplace insert because I don't want to haul and stack firewood. The insert is perfectly sized and placed. Chris explained it fully, demonstrated how to operate it and all of his advice on decision making was correct. Shows up on time and is knowledgeable and efficient. The family room over the garage is now warm and toasty without raising the thermostat for the rest of the house. Thank you Chris! Peg Newell

I would highly recommend Chris and Chimney Wizard! Chris mortared up the deteriorated chimney in my attic and relined the attic. Chris was friendly, energetic, and honest, and worked hard, without charging us extra for the original work, even through several challenges with doing the attic work and installing the liner. He even took the time to go down to the village building department to work out details for onerous building permit requirements. He cleaned up after his work better than any other contractors that I've worked with. I will definitely have Chris back for any future chimney work we may need!
