A few years back my wife and I discovered a corner of our house was unsupported and sinking. We had several quotes, and when Joe came out he was by far the most knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. Other companies wanted to renovate the whole house just for a corner lift which would have tripled the cost. We saved up for two years and called Chumley back, and Joe remembered everything about the project and my family! The project went incredibly smoothly and stayed within the quoted budget. So glad we chose Chumley for this job! Definitely get a quote from them before choosing another foundation company.

Mitch came to do the inspection after I noticed some cracks in our house. I was worried that it could be a foundation issue. He was very informative and answered each and every question of mine and did not try to upsell anything. He educated me on the things in my house that I can improve as a home owner and what to watch out for as well in future. You can’t expect more as a customer. I would use them anytime if I need foundation work and I would recommend them without any hesitation.

The Chumley team was incredible! From the first visit, Joe took the time to dig (literally) through a very, very dilapidated garage and deck and got as into the weeds with us as possible. It was clear he knew what he was doing and was able to communicate the job needs with us clearly. He spent a lot of time with us and never made us feel rushed in the process of choosing between bids. The crew started in a timely manner and all details were very clear along the way via written contract and ongoing phone calls which we appreciated. The crew was incredibly polite and always accomplished what they said they would on a given day. Joe also went above and beyond connecting with other contractors to make sure the work was done efficiently and without any communication gaps. We’re very, very happy with the work and would absolutely hire again.

Extremely unprofessional. I ask the contractor to give a bid to fill concrete in 2x4 gap in foundation. His quote was $1500. I said that seemed too expensive, given the material only going to cost about $50. His reply was, "Oh I’m so sorry! Perhaps craigslist will be a better spot to find someone to do it for cash?" Seems like a scam artist who has 0 professional experience on how to talk to clients.

Second time I’ve hired Joe and his crew. Needed the footings (about 8 of them) around my shed (approx 400 sq ft) replaced. Quality work once again. Now with the foundation secured, I can finally convert the shed into a functional office.

As a first time single home owner, I was scared to see some cracking in the wall, nail pops, cracks in the garage floor, slopes on flooring and cracking sound behind the drywall. I thought these were major issues so called Chumley Structural & Foundation Repair to see what's going on. Mitchell came by to take a look. He listened to what was going on then thoroughly & slowly explained his thoughts telling us there's no structural or foundation issues, relieving our worries. Such a nice guy and honest guy, if anything happens structurally with my house, definitely these guys are the first ones to go. I really appreciate it Mitchell Thank you !

Joe and his crew did excellent work stabilizing the foundation of my parents 1918 home. Living near train tracks, the house shook and rattled. It is now stable and we also have a nice clean crawl space with a new vapor barrier. I appreciate the great communication from the estimate to the inspection. Joe took time to explain various options to correct the issues. I highly recommend this local company.

The foundation under my parents 1918 home was is very poor shape. Living a block from the train tracks caused the house to shake and rattle. I called Chumley Structural & Foundation Repair and Joe promptly came over to provide an estimate. Joe took time to explain different options to address the issues and itemized each in his estimate. His crew recently finished all the work and we could not be happier. This old house is now stable and we no longer fear the next train will bring it down. Many thanks to Joe and his fabulous crew!

Chumley foundation recently worked on our home doing extensive sill plate repairs. They had a competitive bid, and were very engaged with our particular issues. Joe (owner) has excellent problem solving abilities and was able to craft a bid that adjusted the scope of work to exactly what was required once we had siding off and a better picture of the issue. His crews were very polite, introduced themselves to us, and explained what work was happening each day. They started the project promptly and worked on site each day until it was completed. The quality of finished work was very good and the site was left clean.
