A wonderful rafting experience with Tanner!! Highly recommend this experience when coming to Colorado!! Tanner was a phenomenal guide. He was so informative about the land & river explaining the beauty we were witnessing but also very entertaining. He often would circle our raft around to give us a 360* view so we did not miss a thing. We stopped at a place with a hot spring where we soaked our feet & took more pictures. Never did I feel unsafe or we might capsize. Not to say at times we did get wet in the currents. I would do this again in a heartbeat!! The only thing I would report is to get excellent directions prior to driving there. My directions said to turn on Trough Rd which was not marked as that off the road we were on. I believe it was marked as State Bridge Rd. With no cellular access on the mountain we never would have found it if we had not seen a local on the porch of their trailer. We were thankful for their help!!!

Fun for all ages What a scenic, friendly, and fun time with our amazing guide Tanner. We loved it and next time may even try a slightly more advanced rafting trip :)

A stress free day on the river!! Could not have had a better tour than we had with Tanner as our guide. He not only was a plethora of information about the river, wildlife, & nature, but was so entertaining & funny to be with!! The adventure was better than I anticipated which was hard to beat. Tanner was an amazing guide!! Just make sure you are aware about your directions to the destination because there is no cellular service out there.

A great day on the river Tanner was our most excellent guide. We went in late September when the river is tame but that was what I was looking for today.. just a stress free float down the river with nothing to do but look and listen… Tanners priority is our safety first with a “boat load” of fun. This is a trip that everyone can participate in the rafting experience. Tanner had good knowledge of the river points of interest and he is a good conversationalist with a healthy respect of his participants… we made one mistake on our journey… we missed turning right just past the state bridge (Colorado River) onto Trough Road, but we were on time. Tanner said he would have waited for us since he knew we were coming! Thumbs up to this 1/2 day adventure. Next time I would look into a day adventure…with snacks🤣

Beauty of a day on the Colorado! My wife had an AMAZING time on the water! Beautiful water and canyons with a touch of adventure! Our guides, Tanner and Jake were awesome! They were professional, explained everything clearly, and best of all were laid back and fun! Great guys! As it was the end of the summer, the water was a bit low, but the class II and III rapids were perfect for our skill level, (experienced, mostly flat water with some small river floats). I think most people who've paddled a yak (even in flat water) should be able to navigate the rapids, even with a little higher water levels. The inflatable yaks are built to respond more like a whitewater kayak. ie, they don't have a keel so very easy to turn quickly in the rapids. We had no problems adjusting though. Plenty of time to get used to it before you hit the rapids. Next time we're going full day!!
