I had PRK done in May by Dr. Columbus. All I can say is that he is a miracle worker! I am 46 years old and wish I would have considered PRK earlier in life. My vision is 20/15!! I don't need reading glasses, at least for now, and I can see things I never thought possible. My family and friends are blown away by the things I can read at a distance. Dr. Columbus is one of the most sincere, kind and honest doctors that I have worked with. I also want to compliment Nancy, who works in Dr. Columbus's office. She went above and beyond to take care of me the day of my surgery. Dr. Bill also played a key part in helping get my PRK surgery. They all pulled together to make it happen in a way that was more than convenient for me, and truly showed me just how much they cared about my well being and vision, not only now, but in the future. You simply do not find people like these these days anymore. I would highly recommend Dr. Columbus and his staff. They are compassionate beyond measure, and the best part, after your surgery your life is CHANGED!! Thank you to Dr. Columbus, Dr. Bill and Nancy. Because of you all I am living a BETTER life, with GREAT vision!

The experience I had going through Dr. Columbus for my lasik has me questioning why I didn’t do it sooner. I called one day was in for consult within the week and then scheduled for surgery in about a month or so. The day of surgery I went in and was out within 30-45 minutes procedure only being what felt like 5. I could see right away. Just to give an idea I was -7.50 and -7.75. After you are told to keep eyes closed for 5 hours so I laid down and took a long nap. After we went to dinner and I was watching tv etc. with little to no blurriness. I’ve had a few check ups now and I’m seeing 20/15! I do continue to put eye drops in to keep eyes moist which is essential to the healing process. As far as cost goes I feel Columbus was extremely affordable while offering the best technology when it comes to LASIK. If you’re thinking about having lasik I highly recommend you call Columbus LASIK. I also liked how every time I called for anything I was always speaking with one of the doctors.

Had LASIK on both eyes simultaneously and results were excellent. Both doctors are very caring and make sure you have all the information to make a decision. Very prompt and responsive. If you call, you’ll speak directly to a doctor rather than a nurse. Prices are also most competitive in PA. Couldn’t be happier!

Dr. Columbus did a great job walking me through the entire process. I had slight complications due to no fault of Dr. Columbus, yet he took the time to make sure everything was corrected and taken care of and I felt confident in his ability to get me there. He talked me through the whole surgery, which helped calm the many nerves I had. His brother also did a great job explaining everything in my initial consultation which helped make me feel good about the decision I was making. Overall, it was a life changing experience that I'm very grateful for. I was far more than just another paying customer. It's very evident that each person is an individual experience that Dr. Columbus takes his time with.

Hands down has been life changing!! Through every step from consultations to the procedure and through the follow ups expectations were made very clear. I was made extremely comfortable and any concerns I had were addressed. I am now post procedure and my eyes feel great!! I can see clearly and I was given specific after care instructions to insure my healing process is smooth. I struggled with contacts for years and I am so happy I took this step. If it wasn’t for how thorough Dr. Columbus is I probably wouldn’t have done it. What I think is great he pushes to achieve greater. This has truly been a big deal for me. No regrets for sure!!

If I could give Columbus Lasik Vision more than five stars I would. Whether you are extremely excited, nervous, or both to have Lasik done, Dr. Columbus makes you feel calm throughout the process and I felt completely safe in his care. He has preformed over 30,000 surgeries and it definitely shows. He does not rush you and answers any questions you have before, during and after. He explains everything he is doing throughout the procedure so there are no surprises and he never does anything to jeopardize your safety or the care you should receive. Not only is he a terrific Dr. but such a kind hearted person as well. It doesn’t matter what time you call the office, you will always get him or his brother on the phone, not a secretary or after hours call in center. They even drove to the office at 8 pm at night just to check my eye due to some discomfort I was having and five minutes later I walked out of there feeling 100% better. What other office or dr would do that? This is a family run business where you are not just a number, they genuinely care about their patients and their reputation shows it. You will even meet their mother in the office who is one of the sweetest people I ever met in my life. Walking out of there is like walking out of your own family because that’s exactly how they make you feel…like family. I highly recommend them if you are looking for the best of the best.

He may do well with younger people but with anyone over 35, he is terrible. I was told my bad vision after surgery was because of my age. I heard him also tell a dozen people that. Gee couldn't be the surgeon could it. Would never recommend him.

Great service and the Doctor and staff was even better. Was in and out with no issues.

I had PRK done with them and it was a great experience. I can see and I’ve never been happier. I would definitely recommend them and prk. It is great being able to see again.

My vision in my left eye will never be the same. I live with constant pain and discomfort. The doctor seemed so nice. I wish I never had it done
I have been to several specialist since my initial review. The damage the procedure done to my eye by Dr Columbus can never be surgically repaired.

friendly and easy talk to, amazing results only a few days after surgery

I called Dr. Columbus randomly one day because it felt like something was seriously wrong with my left eye. It had been a while since my last eye exam and I've never before even spoken to him. When I called, he answered and I was surprised because it was Sunday. I told him what was wrong and he said he wasn't at the office but that he could meet me in a few hours. Again, I was surprised and very grateful considering it was Sunday. We met at the location and he was kind, understanding, and thorough. I don't think I would have ever had an experience like this with any other doctor who would have taken time out of their day to see someone on such short notice. There was something wrong with my eye and he called other doctors to try to get me in with a specialist as soon as possible for further examinations. He even called a few days later to make sure I was contacted by another doctor and that I had an appointment soon. He's seriously one of the best doctors I've ever met and I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for an eye doctor who truly cares!

Columbus LASIK Vision did a tremendous job with my procedure! From the consultation all the way to the follow-up appointments post procedure. He and his staff explained the entire process in a clear concise manner. The procedure itself was not at all painful and it was super quick. I'm talking collectively less than 10 mins for both eyes. I've been nearsighted for most my life (30 plus years) and I can honestly say I'm glad I had it done. All thanks to Dr. Columbus and his staff! 5 stars! I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

I just had my LASIK surgery a week ago, and I love it, Dr Columbus was great and explains everything, they are the best.

I was very skeptical at first. Surgery on my eyes didnt sound ideal. But I'm glad I went through with it. The procedure was fast an they talked ya through it to keep ya relaxed. I was able to drive the next day. Its now been a week an my vision is back to what it was with glasses if not better. No pain or discomfort. I'm a truck driver so my eye sight is crucial an this procedure was amazing. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking into this procedure to stop thinking an just do it. Staff is nice an its affordable compared to others. I wish I did sooner.

I’ve been contemplating lasik eye surgery for nearly 4 years. At 45 years old, I had enough with wearing glasses. My vision was extremely poor. I not only had progressive lenses, I also had astigmatisms in both eyes. I also purchased glare protection for my lenses as night time driving was extremely difficult for me, especially when it rained. The only thing that ever really stopped me from Lasik was my eye phobia, however, when you finally have enough of something.. enough was enough for me. I had enough of wearing glasses. Paying nearly $500 alone for lenses as my eyes continued to get worse, the amount alone I will now save each year helped convince me to finally go for it!

After my very own thorough & lengthy research of lasik eye doctors, I chose Columbus Lasik Vision & went ahead with a consult. There are no words to truly explain what Dr Columbus did for me. The gift of sight is what Dr Columbus gave me. Dr Columbus and staff are exceptional at what they do. Not only was he extremely professional, he answered any questions or concerns I had in great detail. Procedure was pain free & less than 10 minutes from start to finish. I would not recommend anyone else for Lasik Eye procedure. It’s been nearly a month later & my Vision is exceptional! To be able to see, let alone be able to drive at night without any problems is something I never thought I would be able to do again. Go for it!
