It is important to point out that there are serious discrepancies between your review and what actually happened. Your review is really a review of a yacht brokerage company, Charter Yacht Sales. Charter Yacht Sales is a separate company but in partnership with Conch Charters to help Conch’s yacht owners sell their boat or buy a boat into Conch’s fleet. Charter Yacht Sales provided yacht brokerage services for the sale of Cabo (Lagoon 450S) to Nathalie St Amant and her partner Richard Beauregard. Nathalie D. St-Amant and her partner Richard Beauregard purchased the vessel Cabo for $410k and the deal was closed on 1 May 2024. The vessel was advertised on YachtWorld initially for $475k with a description of the vessel with standard charter ready equipment like linens Galleyware etc. sufficient to enable the yacht to go on charter. They received a huge discount as the seller is suffering from cancer and wanted a quick sale. The seller had personal items in locked storage areas on the vessel and 10 boxes in dry storage ashore. These items were not part of the sale. We did not have control of any of these items nor access to certain storage lockers onboard at any point of time. This was pointed out to Nathalie in an email 3 April 2024. The personal effects were shown to Nathalie and she offered to pay $1000.00 which was accepted and reimbursed to the seller. The seller posted a number of You Tube videos from one of his trips back in 2023 as a memento for the last time he used the vessel. Nathalie started requesting items she saw on the video like a Satellite Phone plus a dinghy and outboard (which the seller had previously sold) or had taken home. We had to remind her again is not part of the deal. The items Nathalie is referring to in her review are a couple of plastic champagne flutes, some linens, none of which we had control of as it was in owners storage. It was ridiculous the amount they were trying to nickel and dime the seller. It is egregious that they have brought this up six months later (after the acceptance has been signed), because they watched an YouTube video with no date stamp! Finally, Nathalie and her partner Richard Beauregard blackmailed us in an email on 2 Oct 2024. They said they would remove their 1 star review if we gave them $1,000! We had an extremely negative experience working with Nathalie and Richard. They were difficult, aggressive, and loud. There was a complete lack of communication from their end, including arriving at the dock unannounced and expecting to sleep on a vessel which they hadn’t purchased yet. While the seller denied their request, we accommodated them every step of the way. They did not know how to operate the vessel. They couldn’t start the genset, work the air conditioning units and other basic equipment like the water maker and started getting annoyed. We even allowed them to use our dock space after they purchased their vessel at no extra cost. Nathalie purchased the yacht for a great deal, she got the owners tools and equipment for a steal (worth $10k according to the seller) the yacht was fixed up to her satisfaction as per the survey. I suggest she should focus on enjoying her life. We will not entertain your blackmail request to give you $1,000 to remove your 1 star review!
