Great food, atmosphere, and vibe.

You should go here if you are a tourist or enjoy mid Italian food. Don't bother making a reservation. To preface, I am not someone who usually leaves reviews and have worked in the service industry. But, when I booked (and confirmed) a table for an anniversary dinner here after seeing all the good reviews, I thought I could at least expect to sit at my own table. Instead my girlfriend and I were seated at the corner of long dining table which we had to share with another couple. We thought at least the food would be good, but it was not, especially for the price. The shrimp appetizer was served not de-shelled, and once we peeled the shells off, we lost all the seasoning and ended up eating what was basically plain shrimp. For our entrees, the pasta sauce was thin and borderline watery. My girlfriend has cooked better pasta in 10 minutes than what took this place a half hour. The servers were very nice, but seemed frazzled and guilty. The restaurant advertises itself to be located in Park Slope, but this is simply a lie. The restaurant is across the street from Barclays Center and was filled with uncool, loud tourists (no offense). Again, I'm not usually a snob– just trying to warn away people who want good food and.a cool venue. There are plenty of better places in the borough to spend your money on a nice dinner.

Server might have been overworked but she was rude and annoyed everytime I asked her for something. But when you park us at a corner table and then completely ignore us, what do you expect?! I will need to ask for things - like bread, olive oil, a second glass of wine (which I never got). It was terrible service and I RARELY write negative reviews.

Pasta was poorly seasoned, way too much red pepper (and nothing else) in one dish and no flavor at all in another dish. Caesar salad was just okay, especially for the price. Service was rude and our waiter tricked us into paying $8 for a bottle of water. Server looked down my friends shirt on two separate occasions. Don’t go here.

Quality of food dropped significantly over the last few years, between over-cooked pasta, cold shrimmps, and super-dry tiramisu (have they ever had a roper tiramisu?!). It's a pitty, it used to be a good restaurant, comes at $100/pp with wine, not worth $20

Place checks all the boxes and the ambiance is spot on for a romantic evening or a family gathering in the wine cellar. Food was fresh, tasty. The steak option has an amazing addictive cheese sauce that will leave you wanting more.

Nice interior, otherwise poor experience. Octopus was not trimmed or cleaned properly, had an unappetizing malodorous effect. Cesar salad had mayo-based dressing. Shrimp (7pc for $23) wasn’t cleaned properly either and the sauce, though flavorful, was mostly butter. Service was slow, waiters too insistent on dessert.

Beautiful place and delicious food! Would highly recommend to absolutely anyone

The manager Miguel was super awesome and made our experience really enjoyable. Would definitely eat here again!

There behaviour are very bad. one of the guys told me i have to pickup my order from the kitchen so i go to the kitchen. Kitchen are so nasty. The mid age man asking me why i came to the kitchen i told him the host give me permission to go kitchen.

The food was okay… for an italian I was expecting the pasta to be cooked al dante but they were overcooked (breaking) & the buffala was so-so. Although, the tricolore salad was good as well as the agnello (lamb). The staff was hurrying us up which was slightly frustrating. Overall too pricey (400$ for a group of 4) for the experience...

Very disappointed with the food, celebrating our daughter’s birthday with my wife, son, daughter-in law and my daughter. But aside from that, the waiter failed to inform me of the gratuity already included on the bill, and it was too dark in the room to notice that, so I inadvertently double tipped my waiter for his mediocre service! It was the slowest service I’ve ever had. The waiter was nice but it took so long for him to even take our food order. Please post this and learn a little bit about customer service and stop robbing your patrons!!
