This place is a scam. They are Unprofessional. I couldn’t get a straight answer from the guy on the phone, then two people showed up at my house then they tell me they couldn’t move the couch and still charge me $275 for a quote!!! Scam

Difficult to reach Does not return phone calls

I spoke with Sal sept 13,24 to get a quote sent picturse explain and still no quote this went on for two days they won't answer the phone will lead you on this silly game they play, by texting iam on the phone with another client can I get back too you and you will not get the quote but they will ask what neighborhood you live in, I will not be doing business eith them

I cannot begin to express how wonderful Couch Doctor was. They took an extremely stressful situation and resolved it with ease and efficiency. They were responsive pleasant and honestly miracle workers. I don’t know what we would have done without them. This is a service I will tell everyone about so that if they are ever faced with a similar situation they will know exactly who to call

Would give this company ZERO stars if I could! This Company is a Straight up scam! The stated address for their "show room" is bogus! wasted time and money to find non commercial space with security sayingbthis has been a SCAM address for years! No one ever answers the phone, and the mailbox is constantly full, unable to receive messages. Repeated calls get you a text about being busy, but then subsequent texts go completely ignored. All I have seen are excuses in replies. :Driver was injured" Every negative review is "sabotage from competitors " But when contacting numbers YOUatvthis company publish, there is never an answer! suspicious! talking to someone at a number I found on Google has yet more excuses about vacations and appointments at an an address verified to be bogus. please don't waste time with this blatant fraud ! Edit: I made my I itiak quote over 5 months ago. Today, A one sentence Response Appears, like a wild Pokémon. "Fake Review Posted By Competitors..." Funny that, it seem like every negative review you receive has the same dismissal. How can anyone compete with a phantom business that does not exist?. Waste your time and money if you wish, but I wouldn't if I knew then what I know now.

Amazing company. Couch didn’t fit going up to my new apartment. I called and immediately was answered. Guy came a couple hours later and did the best job I could’ve asked for. Total life savor🙏

A gentleman called Lou from NY furniture doctor came to my home to look at the furniture to refinish. Gave him a check for the job after I ended up in the hospital cause I am disabled and called him to let him know and sad when I came back out of the hospital can you refund me the money he said no had to buy the material after that the person that was supposed to refinish my furniture, called me and wanted to know when he could do the job so I told him Lou has the material for the job and gentleman told me no he doesn’t. I supply my own material. I just want to know why this guy Lou from New York furniture doctor lied to me and did not work in the back of the posit that I gave him at the wall. He doesn’t do anything for you. I think this company is the worst company I ever came across.

Daniel Rubinoff emailed me with a low end quote, so I booked him. An hour past the window, I call for an ETA and he tells me a woman named Linda (I don’t know anyone named Linda) has cancelled my appointment. I’m angry, but I reschedule for the next day. I text him 30 min before the new appointment time to confirm, he says he’s on his way. He never showed up, and turned off his phone. In the end I called Dr. Sofa instead. They were more expensive, but it was worth it. Daniel at Couch Dr was a waste of my time.

The most unprofessional company ever. I stayed home two days from working waiting for someone to come help. The person has not answered a single text message or phone call and has now blocked my phone number. Would’ve been better just to get a heads up that my appointment was cancelled as opposed to standing me up. Don’t use them!

I’m an interior designer and have used Couch Doctor in the past and have been very pleased with their services however yesterday they went completely MIA on me - said they’d be at the project within two hours and then stopped responding to calls/ texts and left me totally stranded… call Z Brothers instead - more expensive but reliable, great customer service and wonderful work.

The couch doctor did a good job disassembling and reassembling my couch to fit it into my unit. 4 months later the couch broke and began sinking down in the middle. I called the couch doctor who told me I should be covered for structural damage and we made an appointment for him to come do repairs. He never showed up for the appointment and been ignoring my calls and texts ever since. I was pleasantly surprised that they even offered this but I dont think a business should make promises it can't keep or ignore it's customers.

Should have read the other reviews before calling this guy. Daniel confirmed appointment day before and was a no show. Called and texted him continually with now response. This company is totally unprofessional and a scam.

Daniel confirmed an appointment and made me drive all the way from Suffolk County into the city and never showed, never answered his phone or texts. This seems to be their way of doing business if you read many of the other reviews. I wonder if he's going to use the excuse "the repairman got into a terrible accident on the way to your job" as he did with the others. Must have a lot of bad drivers LOL! Find somebody else this company is useless

This company broke my couch. After they reassembled my couch it started making a creaking noise on one side. The repair person said they would come to fix the issue then completely ghosted me. Do NOT use these people.
