I highly recommend Country Life K-9 Training. We have two small children and very busy lives. We tried previous training programs and nothing quite stuck. Our small children did not even want to be in the same room as our dog. But then he went to Country Life and came home an entirely different dog! We are able to take him on stress free walks. He's able to join the family during bonding time, because he's not jumping on/knocking down the kids. He's no longer barking obsessively. He's the perfect gentleman now!

I cannot thank these women enough! Our dog was in great, caring hands, and came home listening and heeling 10x better. I can even work on his nails now - by myself! (This used to be a 2 person struggle). Great ladies, great skills. Highly recommend!

I sent my dog Ellie to Country Life K9 Training, and the results have been incredible! She is so much more well-behaved now, especially with the "heel" and "stay" commands. These commands have been crucial in helping her become a calmer, more manageable dog. I’m amazed at the transformation and the confidence it’s given both of us. I highly recommend their program for anyone looking to improve their dog's behavior and strengthen their bond!

Our dog Nash came from this excellent training program. Lauren and Sarah are amazing! We have never had such a well behaved dog- and he gets loads of compliments whenever we take him out. We are able to take him everywhere and not worry about his behavior. Once you have a dog that graduates from Country Life you will never want to have another dog that hasn't gone through their program.

Country Life K9 did a fantastic job with my pup! They walked me through everything my dog learned and how to use the training at home and made sure I was comfortable with everything before I left. Thank you Lauren and Sarah!

Country Life K9 Training was fantastic. They did a great job in training our lab puppy. I would highly recommend.

Peace of mind is a well trained dog! We brought our one-year old Golden Retriever named Calvert to Country Life for their 4-week program earlier this year. Our choice was determined by their setup (we also have cats in our house) and their robust social media presence (we were able to see updates on Cal throughout his training). Now, Calvert is better behaved in the house and knows his recall command well enough to go off leash in some situations. He's still energetic, playful, and goofy but he is far more respectful and his training is paying off major dividends. I would easily recommend Country Life K9 to anyone in the DMV!

Chapo was our 8 month old GSD and he was a bit of a handful and I thought I was doing good with basic training at home. But once we gave our baby over to Country Life it was a transformation we were so happy to get. Just in 3 weeks he’s a smart obedient dog. They also reach out after you take your baby home to make sure he or she is still following everything that was taught. I would highly recommend trying them out for your dogs and see for yourself !!

Lauren is an amazing trainer, and was a perfect fit for my dog, Huck. She listened to what I most wanted to work on with him and really focused on those needs- Huck came home with great leash manners, great off leash recall, and excellent ability to hang out in public spaces. Something I really appreciated is that Lauren and Sarah posted tons of detailed video updates on Huck's progress- my family loved being able to see how he was doing and it helped me really understand what I needed to do with him when he got home. Most of all I felt like they really "got" Huck and genuinely cared about him- I felt great having him stay with them and was confident he was having a great experience.

Couldn't recommend it enough.

We cannot thank Lauren and Sarah enough for all of the hard work they put into our puppy. We have noticed a tremendous difference in Lainey's manners and we feel so much more confident when we bring her to new locations. We will forever recommend Country Life K9 Training!

Highly recommend training and boarding with Country Life K9 Training. We brought our golden retriever mix Maisy because we needed some help with her behavior. We have little kids in our house and we needed a jump start on training Maisy to stop counter surfing, jumping and running for the door. We couldn’t believe the results after her 3 week board and train! We even sent Maisy back for boarding while on family vacation. Lauren and Sarah do a terrific job and their attention to detail is next to none!

Truly in a league of their own - we did the 3 week board and train program and can't recommend it enough. We picked up our high-energy dog about 3 weeks ago and after a very brief adjustment period being back at home, is near perfect off-leash and obeys all commands on first attempt. Couldn't recommend this company more - run by super down to earth people who are nothing but kind and polite. 2 Massive thumbs up!

We dropped our 8 month old Shepsky puppy off with Lauren and Sarah a little over a month ago. We could not be happier with the results and would highly recommend Country Life K9 Training!! We brought our newly trained Leia to downtown Annapolis yesterday - she did wonderful walking around the busy area with us and then sitting perfectly with us while we enjoyed lunch (picture included). We also often bring Leia to work with us and she is so well behaved - we put her in place when visitors come and she does great. Lauren and Sarah posts videos of your dog every day while they are away with them and on your graduation day they supply you with all the information you need to continue with the training work they have accomplished. We love how well our Leia behaves, especially when walking her and the place command. We will absolutely be using Country Life K9 Training in the future for boarding. #happy customers #happy Leia
