Food is okay. There is no appies. We had ribs that comes with potato salad and coleslaw. The potatoes we're crunchy. Coleslaw was watery and a bit sour. Not worth the Gastown price imho. I had a mojito (they spelled it "majito" in their poorly handwritten drink menu). It was not good. Tasted like mint and soda. Service was not good. The server didn't know what she's doing. The only good thing about this place is the location. We won't eat here again.

It was very nice experience. Chicken burger was amazing and i also liked the fraser valley chicken whicj was smoked in musket wood. I must say to try this.

I hate giving bad reviews to restaurants, but there is no way for me to say anything good about the food I had here. I am glad some people had good experience, although I won't be surprised if those reviews are from family and friends. The brisket and the fries came out luke warm and those were the blondest briskets and fries I have ever seen. Brisket was also extremely tough and bland. It was as if it was made the day before and nuked in the microwave for us. I took 2 or 3 bites and was full...just couldn't eat it. My buddies ribs were tough and Annies mac and chees is way better that the one my fiancée had.

Really liked Chef Elias's brisket sandwich. The ambiance indoors is just something you don't find often anymore as this place yells barbecue! must visit.

Visited the place a few times now. really liked their smoked wings and the jackfruit sandwich. they've got an amazing staff and location. wonderful experience through and through.

My group ate on the patio here and got a variety of the meats. Everyone was extremely disappointed because how mediocre the food was. The brisket was tough. The ribs were tough. Taste was bland. Pickled sides were good, as well as the ketchup (seemed homemade!). The staff was kind and put an umbrella over us when it started to rain. Other than those highlights, we were overall disappointment. I’d give a 2.5 star if I could because of the staff and sides, but when you come here expecting good meats, you’ll be disappointed.

Ordered a brisket platter from here and recieved medium rare roast beef. It was terible. This place doesnt know what brisket is or how it should be cooked. So disappointing considering they took over for Pekinpah. If their cook would like to learn how to smoke a brisket please reach out
