Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the service that you gave me for the funeral of my partner. From the first phone call to the end, I had nothing to worry about regarding any of the funeral planning, you did it perfectly, you all went above and beyond. I was also grateful for the handling of a situation that occurred just before the service started which would have broken me had it had escalated further causing disruption. Thank you all so much.

Extremely helpful, friendly and sensitive staff at a time when you really need patience and understanding. We were so pleased to have found this family-run Funeral Directors to look after our loved-one's cremation during these difficult times through the pandemic. Absolute amazing company. The support Grant and his team have have shown our family over the past month cannot be faulted. No request to big or to small, everything explained in a kind and caring manner. Every little detail we wanted was made with love and care. Thank you all for making the hardest time for my dad and us daughters that much easier. Thank you for helping me on the day to carry my mum to her final resting place, the support and guidance was truly amazing. We called around all the funeral homes and this one was by far the warmest most caring company which is what we wanted. Having used the services of County Funerals on a previous occasion, I had no hesitation in going back to them when my wife lost her battle with cancer. Once again, they exceeded my expectations, the ease in dealing with them in making the preparations, along with their advice was invaluable, and on the day everything went very smoothly - in fact the comments from some members of the family probably summed it up better than I could - the comment being “they really cared, it was almost as if they were part of the family”. Would I recommend County Funerals to my friends and family - without hesitation, thank you for making a stressful day a lot lot easier.

We cannot thank Grant, Nicky and the team at County Funerals enough. We were all devasted when Mum passed and after meeting them we knew they would look after her while the funeral was being arranged. The send off was perfect for a wonderful lady and that wouldn't have happened if Grant and Nicky hadn't allowed us all the time to sit and talk and share memories of her. They picked up every call, email and approached us as friends. When my mum passed away, it was not expected at that time and we had no idea how we were going to pay for her funeral. County were recommended to me by someone who had used them as she said they were wonderful. I have to agree. My two boys were very close to my mum and we wanted to make sure she has a dignified and worthy ceremony .... I was very apprehensive about arranging a funeral as I didn't know how it was going to go and how to arrange it with little money in place. The team at County funerals were amazing. I particularly want to give Nikki a mention here as she went above and beyond ..... She helped guide us through writing eulogies and my boys went to the funeral parkour to help line the coffin which helped them with their grief. The ceremony itself was a really beautiful tribute to my mum and all the staff were amazing .... For a fair cost we got a great send off for a wonderful woman. Nikki lead the ceremony and I had many comments from friends and family saying what a great tribute to mum it was. I honestly can't recommend them enough and thank them for doing mum proud.

Well where do I start, from the moment you welcomed us in we felt at home, you looked after our little girl as one of your own. Our world had fallen apart and you kept us going, endless teas and coffees even having dinner with our daughter as a family again. Grant, you and your team are an absolute credit to anyone that comes your way, what you have done for us and Julia will remain in our hearts forever, you became our extended family when our family was shortened. You all held us together at a time that touched the hearts of everyone, you went above and beyond, Julia had the most amazing farewell fit for a unicorn riding princess. The work you all do isn’t credited enough you all are truly amazing. From my family to yours thank you well never be enough x

County Funerals offered me a competitive quotation at a distressing time. They were helpful giving me the information that I needed in a friendly, unobtrusive manner. The staff were all helpful, solution focused and efficient. My queries and phone calls were dealt with thoroughly and efficiently with tact and sensitivity. I appreciated being invited to remember my loved one, by visiting the premises to add a card to a Christmas memory tree. The event was informal, sensitive, emotionally supportive and offered wreath making activities which was a helpful and thoughtful activity. You could also raise a glass and share in the refreshments offered. I would definitely use County Funerals again.

Our family are so glad we chose County Funerals to look after my father. They were so kind. They encouraged us to visit Dad whenever we wanted prior to the funeral including the evening and at weekends. Every time we were offered drinks and food. Nicky who works there is such a warm genuine person and Grant very helpful. They have made us feel part of their place, encouraging my Mum to pop in for a chat even after the funeral. We can't thank them enough for their help and kindness at a very difficult time. It was thanks to the Google reviews we chose County Funerals so we are glad now to share our positive experience.

After my Mother passed unexpectedly, I was given a bereavement brochure by the hospital. I glanced through it called a couple of numbers. But the only one that answered was Grant! I am glad he did. He was very compassionate and helpful and made the whole process very straightforward. Thank you to all your team for making such a difficult time as stress free and helpful as possible.

County Funerals were excellent in taking care of my dad and also in the way they dealt with the communication to me. I felt very comfortable talking to them over the phone (covid) and very much looked after. The service felt very personal, a lovely family run business, no pressure etc. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My father passed away last September at home. There was some confusion on my parent's funeral plan and another local funeral directors collected Dad's body and called later that day to say their company was not covered by the insurance. I called Grant at Count Funerals who immediately took control as we did not know at this stage where Dad had been taken to, which was extremely upsetting for the family. Grant visited us at home as my mum has mobility issues and was very patient and walked us through what we needed to do and what was included in the insurance policy, as we had never had to arrange a funeral before He showed us caskets, flowers, example Orders of Service, urns, etc and I appreciated his soft approach and he was not at all pushy and did not try to sell us the most expensive items. Everything was explained thoroughly which was really reassuring for my mum which is in her eighties. County Funerals are much better value for money that any of the other local companies I researched - we definitely made the right choice for us - a family firm with a caring approach. Grant even did a reading for us and was on hand during the funeral service for Dad, just in case any of us couldn't manage our eulogies on the day. The day was beautiful, if you can describe a funeral as that, and even during the COVID restrictions, it went without a hitch. The professionalism and care shown by Grant and his team during one of the worst days of our lives was monumental and something I will never forget.

Our family felt so loved and looked after with the passing of our beautiful Nan County Funeral treated our Nan as a queen. Even in the difficult circumstances due to the pandemic County funeral made the funeral planning less stressful and we had a lot of support throughout.
