As a professional in the architecture business, I can say Tom has an eye for detail and care that surpass most competitors I spoke with. Would give higher than 5 stars if available! Tom was so responsive, professional, and excellent with working with our requests and challenges. He took our carpeted stairs and upstairs hallway and turned it into oak wood floors to match the rest of our house. Even the stain match was perfect! He finished the job early and was accommodating when we found a slope in the floor that needed fixing. He was professional every day he worked at the house, and cleaned up every day. Even managed a barking dog who wanted to keep watch! His invoice process was detailed and easy to pay. I already have a few other projects down the road in mind and will be reaching out to Tom for dibs! Thank you for making our home what we envisioned!

Tom did an outstanding job refinishing the hardwood floors throughout our new home! Not only was he clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, but he also went above and beyond to make sure the entire process was as easy and stress-free for us as possible. He communicated well with us through every step of the process and even coordinated with other workers we had in the house at the time, which eased the stress on me! Tom worked hard to accommodate our timeline and was very professional. We have nothing but great things to say about our experience working with him and will certainly continue to recommend him to anyone needing work done on their floors!

I send 4 emails for quotes and heard from Mr. Farquhar right way. We scheduled a meeting, met and hired him on the spot. Very personable & professional. The quality of work and pride he took in customizing our floors and trim was amazing. I had other rooms done by another contractor and not even close to as satisfied as I am with Tom. I highly recommend him and will hire for more rooms.

We hired Craftsman Hardwood Floors to replace the flooring in our family room and to refinish our entire lower level and we couldn’t be happier. Tom is a total professional from his work to his communication. We had forger tile ripped out and he installed hardwood and sanded and stained Ed that and the entire first floor. He was extremely responsive to emails and calls and updated us throughout the project. He was more expensive than other estimates but I selected him because I felt better about his communication and work.

We originally had Tom come out to do a small repair in our bathroom floor and that led to us moving forward with installing hardwood in all of our bedrooms upstairs. Tom was extremely helpful throughout every step of the process and was always available when I needed advice or had questions. We coudn't be happier with the work that Tom has done for us! We had new wood floors put in two different rooms and on the stairs down to the basement. He came out to the house, took a look at what we were wanting and then got a quote to us that afternoon. Tom with Craftsman was wonderful and we couldn’t be happier with the final product of our floors. We had existing floors that had to be laced with new hardwood and he did an outstanding job. He was extremely helpful when we chose the stain color and worked with us to find exactly what we wanted. We would highly recommend Craftsman to anyone who is looking to refinish or install new hardwoods in their home! Tom was very responsive, kind and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make the final product exactly as we hoped!

Tom sanded and refinished our entire downstairs, which had some original hardwood and some refinished wood. he did an outstanding job, creating a seamless beautiful look throughout the entire home. His attention to detail and high quality were apparent; his professionalism and work ethic were excellent; and his prices were reasonable. When I have any job in my home involving woodwork, I would hire Tom in an instant!

Tom was extremely professional gave us a really quick quote (1000 SF of LVP) and followed up...but was not pushy. We had a budget/timeline and needed to wait a month before starting. Once they started they were in and out in 2 1/2 days quick work very high-quality and didn’t leave a mess in the house. Tom understands the trade and can give many recommendations/ideas if you’re not sure or need to be in a certain budget. Would work with again.

I got several estimates from different companies for new hardwood flooring. Tom’s numbers were comparable to others, but I feel that I got such a great deal! Because The quality of the installation and the ease of working with him made the whole job efficient and super professional. I was so impressed by his work and ethics, that I hired him twice more to install stairs and other woodwork. I highly recommend.

Tom did a great job on our floors. He transformed our old walnut stained family room floor into a Brazilian Cherry stained floor to match the rest of our home floors! Turned out excellent! Re-built transition plate to our kitchen floor and since he did such a great job, we hired him to recess the rest of our air vents throughout the house! I'd recommend Tom to any person needing a new or refinished hardwood floor!
