This should be all zeros!! Went to Albany’s Homecoming and made the mistake of getting in their line to order. The woman taking the orders was RUDE! I ordered a Veggie lover which says it was dumplings callalo and rice. Want I got was a slop of canned callalo and some type of okra consistency liquid. Mind you the rice was missing and I paid $25.00. What a waste, totally regretted it and knew it wasn’t worth going back because when I placed my ordered they ran out of patties and woman told me to get something else or get nothing….WHAT!! I don’t know what curse Jamaican woman have on them but it’s bad and that’s coming from a Jamaican American woman. I would pass on this place if you’re reading this.

Food is pretty good

I ordered the curry chicken and it was more like curry chicken bones. I will say the flavor was good, but I had nothing but chopped up bones instead of actual chicken. They even had pieces of the chicken spine on my plate. I am actually from Brooklyn, New York and I can truly say that this ain’t it dog!

Disappointed, I was expecting the lunch special for 8.95, showed up at 1:35 pm and he said the special was over, no times listed near the lunch special sign, which is very shady and deceptive. The drive thru is not meant for big body cars, can't even accommodate my car without having to reverse and pull in while going to the pick up window🙄. Jerk chicken was not seasoned or marinated ,nor smoked like a true Jamaican would do, all they did was squeeze jerk sauce on the chicken and it wasn't spicy at all. The mac n cheese is wet and okay I guess if your a little high. The plantains were okay, they were a little too soft but edible. The rice n peas taste like he threw in some canned beans in some uncle Ben's rice, overall rating, a 1. He's a crook, so the business name makes sense.

I ordered the oxtails plate for lunch and they tasted very bland, no season in site. It’s a difference when your a little rude and the food is good, but the food was awful just like the lady at the windows attitude.. I’m not coming back this place has gone down hill.

Sorry but ugh, Terrible. Jerk chicken. Macaroni. Potato salad. $27!!!!

Very disappointed! Jerk Chicken was not authentic jerk chicken. Not seasoned well at all and tasted microwaved. Very big portion of rice but small amounts of meat. Brown stew chicken was bland as well. The cabbage was the best thing going. Quality isn't worth the price.

Typical drive thru, but really good food AND service. Not too costly, but not cheap. Awesome affordable lunch specials, delicious & authentic Jamaican food!

I absolutely love this place!! I've never had any issues with my food. Taste great, always hot and fresh. I had the Curry Goat with Mac & Cheese.

The food and portion size here was really good and everyone is so nice.

First time eating here. I was at Pan African Festival. I was really hoping the food would be authentic or at least good. It wasn't even close. I paid almost $45 for nothing. I feel ripped off. Prices were not listed, but I think maybe they could have been on those cards. Shame on me for not even asking the prices. I know what Jamaican food is supposed to taste like....this ain't it. I'm giving 2 stars because the one guy that fixed our food was pleasant. I will not return nor recommend.

Missing a food item, maybe the girl that was on her phone the entire time probably missed it smh…

This is GREAT eats. I had the jerk pork; it was delicious. It was not as spicy hot as previous jerk dishes I've eaten, but it was much tastier. I got the mac n cheese and the rice with peas, both were amazing. I want to try other dishes at Crooklyn's but I loved the above mentioned order so much I can't wait to get it again, so the new will have to wait. It is not in the best part of town, but it is worth the trip. They are gracious and good humored. If you like Jamaican cooking, you will not regret it.

If you want some real Jamaican food this is the place!!! Customer Service was great and food was fresh

Although my order was incorrectly rung up they fixed it and made it right. Rhe shrimp wraps were great as well as the mac. Will definitely add to our favorites
