Great Experience Really good experience, Abdullah is always ready to help you and make your itinerary perfect. i was a solo traveller and never felt solo at all. The tours in general were good and the hot air baloon majestic even we left a little bit after sunrise because of the wind.

Brilliant from Start to Finish In Summary: Our experience with CVB travels was brilliant from Start to Finish, thanks to the meticulous planning by the one and only: Abdullah Tek!In-depth honest review: How it began…I purchased an online package for a Turkey tour for July 2022 through a very reputable European travel agency (with decades of service) back in November of 2021 for a land tour departing Istanbul on July 14, 2022. Unfortunately, less than 2 months before our tour that agency contacted me and said that they must cancel the tour because of low booking and that if we come a week before our original planned date then they would accommodate us in another tour. We could not switch our international flights, so they refunded the entire payment. I decided to book all hotels and local tours myself which was going to take a long time and effort. How we came across CVB travels…I had already booked our hot-air balloon ride with Voyager Balloons in Cappadocia, and in their confirmation email, they had said that they can arrange other activities for us too in Cappadocia. So, I decided to start there and wrote an email requesting Voyager Balloons about other local tours they could arrange for us in the Goreme area. Tek from CVB travels (sister company of Voyage Balloons) contacted me back and we started communicating via WhatsApp. When I explained to him that our tour that I had planned over six months ago had been canceled, he immediately said that I should leave it up to him and he’ll book the hotel, tours, and other activities in Cappadocia for us. I asked him if he could also plan our entire Turkey trip and he said that he’ll customize the whole Turkey trip for us. Needless to say, I was skeptical at first because, to be honest, we all book everything online now and no one really deals with travel agents anymore, right? I was worried that I would be over-charged or end up in horrible hotels, or worse taken for a ride. The decision to trust Tek and his planning…Anyway, I decided to take a leap of faith since I found Tek to be friendly and very easy to communicate with. He was in touch with me on a regular basis and kept me abreast of all the bookings as he progressed in the planning. He booked all tours (mostly private) and activities in Cappadocia, Izmir, Ephesus, Pamukkale, and Istanbul. He booked all internal flights between cities and airport transfers. Most of our airport transfers were private and in very comfortable rides. In fact, our Istanbul airport transfer to the hotel was a private luxury van with all the bells and whistles. He detailed all pickup and drop-off times for all tours. The best part was that he stayed in touch with us throughout our tour to make sure we felt safe and secure especially since he knew that it was a girl's trip (just my best friend and I traveling by ourselves) to celebrate our milestone birthdays. He took care of us like a brother and even surprised us with a few birthday surprises during our trip which included a birthday cake presentation after the hot-air balloon ride. Flexibility…During our stay in Izmir, I fell ill unexpectedly and had to rest in the hotel. Tek quickly switched our plans around and made changes with the tour guide so that we would not miss out on our Ephesus day trip. We did have to cancel our scuba diving due to the illness but Tek was able to adjust the payment to another activity so we would not lose any money due to last-minute cancellation.The Best guides & Activities…Tek provided the best tour guide wherever needed. Our favorite tour guide was Hakkan in Cappadocia. Very knowledgeable, friendly and quickly makes you feel like you’ve known him forever. He’ll really watch out for you when you shop as well and help with bargaining! I would recommend asking Tek to arrange your Cappadocia tours with Hakkan if possible. Hakkan is also a hot-air balloon pilot so you may end up on a balloon ride with him too. As for the balloon ride, I would recommend paying slightly more and getting a balloon with fewer passengers. Ours was feeling a little cramped (during the covid era) with about 16 passengers but even so, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience doing it in Cappadocia and enjoying the magical fairytale landscapes. I would also recommend asking Tek to arrange an ATV tour if you’re into it. It was a lot of fun and the tour take you to Rose Valley, Red Valley, and more with opportunities to stop and take pictures. Another must-do in Goreme is visiting one of the underground cities. The history and experience are mind-boggling, especially with a great guide like Hakkan!Of all hotels we stayed at, our favorite one was the Agarta Cave Hotel in Cappadocia. (see my review of the hotel on trip advisor). All of the other hotels that Tek booked us at in Izmir (Kilim Otel), Pamukkale (Colossae Otel), and Istanbul (The Memara Pera, Taksim) also had fabulous views and were 4/5-star hotels. I hope that this detailed review helped you. I did not include details of our tours in Izmir, Pamukkale & Istanbul because this review is long enough already but all tours were thoroughly planned, and we had a great time.In closing, I would like to say that I highly, highly recommend booking your trip with CVB Travel and specifically ask for Tek. You will not regret it!

Brilliant service Excellent service from start to end of our trip. The hot air balloon ride was magical and Abdullah did so much to make our trip memorable - a surprise birthday cake at the end too! We would recommend the basket with less people as made our ride comfortable. The horse riding we would also highly recommend riding through the valleys is magical and a truly memorable experience. We also went on a tour of the valleys, museum and underground city which we would highly recommend the pottery making workshop was lovely too. If you love an Insta worthy trip book with this company. They delivery and are trustworthy. The team were brilliant organising transfers, trips and helped us create the most magical memories. Thank you.

Istanbul and Capadoccia with kids Abdullah Tek is awesome! He made our two week trip to Turkey seem like a breeze. We traveled with our 3 young kids to Istanbul and Capadoccia. I contacted Abdullah and he planned out my 2 week trip day by day. He arranged my pick up and drop off to airports, a personal driver and tour guide( who spoke English), restaurant reservations, sightseeing tours, shopping, etc. Since we were traveling with kids we had to change the schedule a lot(starting the day and tours later due to kids sleeping in, or returning earlier than planned if the kids got tired)and he was completely flexible. He even refunded our money for the tours and photo shoots we were not able to do. If you are planning a trip to Turkey, please do not waste anytime and contact Abdullah right away. He will take care of everything for you!

She said yes! I proposed to my girlfriend on this hot air balloon, It was amazing! Truly a once in a lifetime experience. The company was so helpful and accommodating for the event too. Ismail helped coordinate photographs the engagement so that it could be remembered forever. Would love to come back one day for the memories :)

Perfect experience with no issues at all We've had an amazing experience. Me and my wife has had no issues at all travelling from Istanbul to Cappadocia for the hotel air balloon. They booked all transportation and hotel for us and we was stress free. Highly recommend them to anyone!

He is the most professional and friendly person whose prime focus was providing us with the best experience. He took care of everything. It was my husbands 50th Birthday and I decided to plan his birthday in Cappadocia. TEK and his amazing team took charge of all arrangements for all hubby's birthday surprises which left me very relaxed with full focus on enjoying this big day. Cappadocia was an amazing fairytale-like town,so magical, so nostalgic, feels so far away from reality but totally real, this was my favourite destination . My favourite activity was the 50th birthday hot air ballooning that morning at 5:30. Hats off to TEK and team for helping with all the surprises on the day! My Husband was blown away! BEST. PROPOSAL. EVER. First of all I never leave reviews but in this case I absolutely had to! Tek and his team are like well drilled Navy SEALS!! There were so many moving parts, live musicians on the balloon, sign on the floor, champagne etc etc and I have to say without a doubt it is the happiest day of our lives and Tek made it possible. Our pilot was absolutely fantastic, as were the musicians. Very personable, engaging and the hotel was also unbelievable. We will definitely be going back and I urge you to go through these guys is you want a movie-perfect proposal. Cannot praise them enough!!

Breathtaking views and a breathtaking team! UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES AND EXCELLENT ITINERARY -- LOOK NO FURTHER - CVB TRAVEL IS THE PLACE! I was given Tek's name from one of my friends who visited Turkey last year and he had nothing but good words about Tek and his company. I first sent Tek our arrival and departure flight information and I told him the places I wanted to visit but I told him I just wanted the balloon ride and I was going to book everything on my own. After a few minutes chatting, Tek made me feel comfortable and assured me I was going to be taken care of and will provide me with an itinerary at no obligation. After a couple of days Tek sent me an itinerary for Cappadocia and Istanbul for the 10 days we were in Turkey. His itinerary included everything, from restaurants, balloon ride, horseback riding, ATVs, different tours of both cities, and even a couple of free days for me and my wife to spend alone exploring the cities. At first I was a little skeptical because I am a very organized person and I typically book all my hotels, restaurants, tours and different activities on my own (lol, yes, I know, I'm a millennial). I was very busy at work and other life events until one week before my trip. At that time, I gave the green light to Tek and he really took care of us. We stayed in Cappadocia for 4 days and Istanbul for 5 days and we had an AMAZING TRIP!!!!! Tek made sure that we had everything to have a good time in Turkey. All the transportation was arranged and his itinerary had everything we wanted to see in both cities. I can't explain how amazing everything was, all the activities he arranged for us and the tours. Especially because I've never used a travel agency in my life and this was just EXCELLENT!! We had a chance to meet Tek the first night we arrived in Cappadocia and we immediately clicked, he treated us like friends, like family. He even took us on a private tour in other cities next to Cappadocia which was simply amazing, and we also went to Avanos where he showed us local wineries and we had dinner at a local restaurant. Tek became a friend to us. Tek and his company really made us feel like we did not need anything in Turkey, and if you're like me (skeptical), you should really give him and his company the opportunity to get to know this awesome country and its people. Proposal balloon flight I proposed to my partner on a private balloon flight organised by CVB Travel and Tek arranged everything absolutely perfectly. From his quick and helpful messages at the outset of my booking, through to the big day where he pretended we'd received a random complimentary upgrade from a larger balloon booking so that I could keep everything a surprise for my partner. I would certainly use CVB again for other tours in the area if (when!) we are back. They were superb.
