Its small but neat to see and read about. Very informative and an important site. Easily go thru the whole place in under 10 minutes.

Very interesting to see how people from the Era lived and survived! Years ago visitors could actually take a tour inside the castle. You can no longer! Safety reasons! But it's pretty cool!

Well worth it! I have seen many ruins, but this is by far the most amazing ruins considering the location, the design, accessing it & how it functioned for all those who lived in them.

The monument itself is definitely bigger in person and a bit higher up the cliff that pictures tend to show. Plus it's also nice to hear the river flow in front of the monument it makes it feel so peaceful and a world away from civilization.
For the first timers not only is the park easily accessible the loop trail that leads to Montezuma's Castle is also accessible to all ages. Over it's a must see if traveling through the area.
