Working at Day Violins is such a joy! I am constantly inspired by the incredible work Jason and Jenna Day are doing to provide instruments and music lessons to the community. On a daily basis, I get to see kid’s faces light up when they receive their first instrument, or the shock of customers when they see the smallest violin we rent out (1/32 size!). I come to work excited to learn more and to share my love of music with others. Day Violins is truly making a difference in changing lives! 🎻🎶

After working at Day Violins for almost a year I can honestly say this is the best job I have ever had. Surrounded by co-workers who enjoy what they do, with bosses who not only empower the staff but also provide professional development opportunities, I love my job.

We are very pleased with the purchase of a cello. The store has a very wide selection. Mr. Day took the time to let us try different cellos, compare sounds and prices and explain the difference from one instrument to the next. Everyone in the store was very helpful. We highly recommend Day Violins.

Just rented a 1/2 Cello for my daughter and this was the smoothest process ever. When I called, the gentlemen was so helpful and knowledgeable and when I arrived to pick up the Cello the person was very friendly. I rented it online and picked it up a couple hours later. It only took 2 mins to be on my way home after arriving at the store. A+++++ all around and the prices are the best in town.

They took the time to walk us through multiple choices, ensuring we found the perfect fit. Even when someone broke the line, Jenna handled the situation with such grace and politeness. The level of service we received was outstanding, and I highly recommend Day Violins to anyone looking for quality instruments and top-notch customer care.

Very happy with the customer service here. My son wasn't happy playing the viola due to some of his own developmental issues. The owner was happy offer information about other services that may be coming that he could try again. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

As a lover of Harry Potter, our daughter knows that the Wand chooses the Wizard. After spending over an hour at Day Violins, I'm a firm believer that the Violin also chooses the Violinist! She played multiple violins over and over, unsure of what she wanted, and as Jason walked out with one to ring up, he handed her one to play with that was over 200 years old. Her face lit up, her body language changed, and we knew that was the one. It truly chose her and we were willing to make it work. Congratulations to our musician on matching with her new violin! I truly believe that Days Violins is an incredibly amazing shop. I went there as I needed my sound post setup, and I went to different stores to see if I could get it fixed. Other stores asked for 50 dollars, and would take a month to setup my soundpost. When I went to the store, we only had to wait 5 minutes for the soundpost to be setup. On top of this, I wasn't charged anything. They have professional lutheirs who can do this things incredibly easily. I definitely recommend coming to Days Violins, an amazing violin shop.

Day Violins is an awesome violin shop. They are friendly and kind and literally go out of their way to make sure you are getting the help your child needs for their instrument. Full disclosure- I compete in the same industry (opposite side of the country) and I admire these owners to the max! The Days are genuine people and believe in “paying it forward”. When you do business with Day violins, you will feel that “pay it forward” culture in every interaction you have with them. Only great things come from Day Violins!

We took out a viola bow to try and compare to another one from from another store. They wrote up an agreement form and wrote our credit card number and exp date, etc. Gave us a copy and made a copy. I returned the bow today, because my child chose the other bow from a different shop. When I returned the bow, I had to ask them to sign that it was returned. One of the lady employees scribbled on the bottom of my form. When I asked about the other copy of the form they had, she said she would redact the CC number. I left and then came back in a few minutes later, because I thought I should have a photo of the redacted form. The lady then said she actually did not have the form. Then a different lady came out and said she would go get the form from the back. She came back with a piece of paper and shredded it in front of me without showing me what was on it. I honestly do not know if this shop is full of various people's credit card numbers on sheets of paper that they have filed away, even after those people's rentals or trial periods are over
