Our experience at Deeper Healing was wonderful. The team looked after our needs from day one. We felt cared for and they cheered us on toward success. I was telling Dr. B how a Culture of Caring is not easy to build—it takes significant time and effort. We are so glad we came. I have been seeing Dr McCarter since last April. I had been chronically sick for years and wasn't sure why, and had a weakened immune system. It took me months to get over a simple cold/Covid. I was tired all the time and had major brain fog at only 45 years old. I found them online and saw all of their great reviews. She figured out I had mold toxicity for myself and MY HOME. I have been so much better after my house remediation plus all of the supplements, UVBs, and Infrared Saunas. I highly recommend Dr McCarter. She will figure you issue out. Many flagged issues on bloodwork are directly related to mold; such as thyroid issues, kidney function, iron/anemia, weakened immune system, and more! If you have issues that won't go away, this is where you need to go.

I have been going to Deeper Healing for 2 years now. I love this center. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. It is like a community center for people who are looking to upgrade their health based on the root cause of their illness. In this way, they finally can fully heal by supporting the body’s own ability to heal. They have so many offerings to address your unique challenges. If you are tired of not finding answers where you have already sought care, please consider this alternative, you will be very glad you did.

Dr. Stephanie McCarter is trained in Functional Medicine with a wide variety of specialized knowledge. She will take time to figure out the root of the problem and provide options to improve your health. Dr. McCarter knows how to prioritize treatment in complex cases. The stay and heal program helps the healing process. Dr. McCarter and Deeper Healing is a good investment into your health.

I was very much ready to leave this behind me, but it's worth speaking about in an abridged form since my whole review won't post. I was referred to Deeper Healing by someone in the functional medicine field. Been to many traditional, holistic & functional medicine Drs. on this journey for over 20 years. Partaken in my fair share of those truly invested in health and healing and those who misuse and abuse the system for a paycheck. I'd done everything in my power alone and with professional's to reach healing. Off my immunologic therapy and ready to give functional medicine a fair shot again while hopeful I'd made the right decision and was in the right hands. My first visit was with NP Julianne. I came in limping, barely walking at level 10 pain. It was a 60 min rushed visit where I briefly told her my history and she quickly ran through their therapies while speculating mold issues with no prior history indicating such a thing. While I was vulnerable and in pain I was in no position to fully understand their treatment methodologies and what she was suggesting to be a tailored and well-thought out action plan specific to me and my healing. She stated that they did not write prescriptions for traditional drugs so they had nothing to offer for immediate pain relief. This prompted her to ask atleast 3 times if we wanted to end the meeting. The first time was quite appalling and then became offensive and concerning. Not once did I mention money. Trust me I’ve spent a lot more on other treatment plans than I did here. Her explaining that the $350 consult would be prorated if the meeting was cut short was as if in that moment I was being turned away because she didn’t believe in her own services and their whole principle of "deeper healing". It also felt racially targeted. I wasn’t ready to leave because she couldn’t write a prescription it was just the most pressing thing at that moment. You see, I wasn't simply there for short term relief, I was there for long term relief. My next visits were with Dr. McCarter who is as scatterbrained as they come. Every meeting with her was overwhelming and undirected. I left each meeting seeking clarity and follow up questions. I was given a long list of supplements to take that did not take into consideration what I was already taking. This again left me feeling like I was being given run-of-the-mill service, non-tailored, non-specific and expected to just agree to everything they proposed all at once. On multiple occasions I communicated that I needed to know the action plan with an order of priorities. With their treatments and therapies costing 100's and 1000's of dollars it is extremely inconsiderate to propose multiple uninsured treatments and expect a patient to instantly be able to do it all at once and in a misguided fashion. They didn’t care how things were being done just as long as they were being paid. I was told that I needed to schedule another $300 meeting when I asked "too many" questions in the patient portal because the meeting I just paid for was as I said overwhelming and undirected. I did everything that was asked of me and had no change and no positive results. She never checked in to see how I responded to therapies. I was treated like a money drip. And what cemented this even more is when I abruptly stopped going not one person checked in on me. Not one. It turns out that I was lied to by Julianne because weeks later Dr. McCarter wrote me a pain prescription that I could have received day one when I could barely walk and I suffered in pain for weeks for no reason. I ultimately had to get back on immunologic therapy because nothing worked. In addition to all of this I was inappropriately and unprofessionally contacted via text by a technician outside of work for reasons unrelated to deeper healing. I never gave him my phone number which means he accessed my file which is a hippa violation since he was not my Dr. This person invaded patient privacy and made returning uncomfortable. Do better and actually prioritize your patients not your pockets.

Dr B. and all of his staff are miracle workers! I came to them at the most exhausted and deeply ill point I’ve ever been in my life after seeking out various other specialities trying to understand just what was wrong with me. I had been sick for 1 year at the time I became a patient at Deeper Healing, and was disabled, had to quit my job and mostly stayed in bed due to my unknown illness. No other dr could figure out what was going on. All of their tests were normal. Dr B. sat and listened for the longest any other dr had before and actually created a wellness plan that made sense to me. Ran the right tests and realized I was suffering from black mold toxicity and chronic Epstein-Barr Virus. I went through the procedures he outlined for me and within just a few months, I no longer needed my mobility aids! I had energy again and hope! I never thought after battling a year long of fatigue, chronic pain, migraines, gut issues; you name it!, that I would have a life again outside of dr appts and rest. Now, I’m starting my own business, back to exercising, and can keep up with my daughter again! I owe it all to Dr B. and his team! Thank you all so much! If anyone reading this is contemplating whether to make an appt or not, please just do it now for yourself! Don’t put it off.

Hello ! I just want say anyone in need of care or if you can’t find answers to any unknown or mysterious illnesses. I recommend you try Deeper Healing first in the whole wide world. This place is a hidden gem ! Everybody they saved my life . The whole staff was Outstanding!!

This place saved my daughter’s life and mine. I have put off writing a review for quite some time because I’ve been overwhelmed by the idea of sitting down and reliving all the painful details, but I cannot leave out the details so that you can understand how Deeper Healing saved our lives and how truly wonderful this place is. Over two years ago, my daughter was bedridden, had PANDAS, intense brain fog, confusion, heart palpitations, debilitating anxiety and fear, OCD, depression, fatigue and so much more. She needed a wheelchair to leave the house. Before sickness, I was a Special Education teacher, photographer, tutor, and an active mother of 3. In 2022, I had previously been sick for many years on disability but around this time of my daughter getting sick, I also began declining rapidly. I developed dementia-like symptoms, myasthenia gravis, tremors, vision loss, debilitating brain fog, breathing issues, debilitating anxiety and depression, the worst fatigue known to mankind, bruises that would appear all over my body, vomiting 30+ times a day, seizures, and so much more. Doctors had me on Adderall because I would sleep for days on end. My husband would have to wake me to give me food and something to drink and then I would fall back asleep again. The doctors put me on Adderall so I could wake up and spend time with my children in the bed. I had over 40 symptoms, was being seen by an oncologist, pulmonologist, cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, gastroenterologist, functional medicine, acupuncturist, psychiatrist and many others. By this point, I had also been diagnosed with Lyme disease, co-infections, POTS, neurocardiogenic syncope, among others. Finally I got to such a bad place, my doctors didn’t know what to do and said I needed emergency stem cell. As a result, my family and I moved to Mexico and received stem cell for months along with NK cells, exosomes and other alternative treatments. Some of these treatments included 10-pass ozone, plasmapheresis, colonics, NAD and I had also tried other radical therapies, medicines, supplements in the US as well. Unfortunately, I only got worse and then moved to Germany to get a life-saving treatment for Lyme disease. I received a radical treatment where they lower your blood sugar to a dangerous level and then flood the body with IV antibiotics. I felt improvement pretty quickly and within a week of feeling great, I immediately became violently sick again, but this time developing heart failure due to myocarditis- viral related because of treatment and also very sick in other ways. My thyroid went into failure and my hormones were thrown completely off. The doctor realized that my EBV and viruses that were dormant in my body came out and took over my body because I was in a vulnerable/physically stressed state. The viruses in my body were far worse than Lyme disease, and anything else I had ever experienced in my life. Meanwhile, my daughter had no improvement from stem cell or this treatment in Mexico either. After two months of treatment in Germany, we moved back home, extremely sick and no better off than before with the same problems and new problems- like a crushing depression that was painful every second to be in my body. After several months passed, I saw Danielle’s video with Deeper Healing. Seconds before I had asked God for help. I took her video as a sign, but I was like most everyone else…skeptical whether I was just going to blow more money and end up the same or far worse. By the way, up to this point, we had spent over $280,000 in just one year fighting to save my daughters life and mine. Front desk Allie is extremely rude and unprofessional. I spent over $8,000 at the clinic, yet Allie treated me like a criminal and made up things out of thin air that I refused to pay $40 on Fri, 4/19/2024. In a very brief interaction(less than one minute), Allie managed to make 2 billing errors on top of this outrageous accusation on my integrity.

By far the best place in the world!!!! It's been 9 years now for me being sick with ups and downs. I've probably been to about 40 Doctors over the past 9 years trying to get treatment or for some answers. I have very odd symptoms and found out I had Mold 3 years ago but I could not find any supplements I could actually take to help me get rid of it. I did the Stay n Heal program and the Doctors formatted a protocol specifically to me and my body. I'm about 6 months in and can not say enough. All of the staff members are AMAZING and so caring!!! It's such a relief to give up trying to treat myself and fully trust the Doctors to get me better. All I can say is I wish I found it sooner but am so happy I am finally in the right place!!

My 30 yr old son was sick for 5 years; many days he could do nothing but sit in bed while someone else prepared meals for him. No doctor was able to diagnose or treat him--not even a full work up at Mayo Clinic over two weeks. He was in the hospital every 3-6 months for 6-10 days; usually for complete paralysis, but no reason why. Dr McCarter originally diagnosed his sensitivity to sunflower seed/oil, which is literally in everything and caused my son the paralysis. Later while at Deeper Healing with Dr McCarter and the many other wonderful professionals, it was determined he had been exposed to mold, had parasites, and at some point had lyme disease. For the past 9 months, Dr McCarter treated him for these 3 things. He has not been in the hospital for over 18 months! He continues to be treated for all 3 and is now living on his own. He is physically up and moving EVERY day which hasn't happened in over 5 years and his brain fog is slowly recovering. Yesterday, he was unknowingly exposed to sunflower and it caused him to have extreme fatigue, but no hospitalization!! We cannot recommend Deeper Healing and Dr McCarter enough. Everyone there cares about you and shows kindness. While that should be expected from all medical professionals, the most important part is results--our son experienced true healing from their program where there was none elsewhere.

Deeper Healing is ahead of its time. They have worked hard to find actual treatments that work to help your body heal. All things take time, and unfortunately there isn’t a fast food fix. If you truly want to rid your body of the toxins and get healthy; this is the place to do it. The staff truly cares about you and having a successful treatment.

I cannot articulate my appreciation and praise for the help I received at Deeper Healing through the kind and sincere care of Dr. B, Danielle, Grace, Amy, and many others. I first went to find health from toxic mold exposure but it didn’t stop there. This is not a practice that checks a box and sends you on your way, they wanted ALL of me healthy! Because of their commitment to total body healing, (physical, emotional, and spiritual), and their cutting edge treatments, I am happy, healthy, and just as important, educated. Walking into Deeper Healing in December of 2022, I was about to meet my 47th doctor in less than a year and a half. I had had severe reaction to something and no one could figure out how to start getting my body to calm down. One of the things that came about from this reaction was a cancer diagnosis. My hematologist at a world renowned clinic has been amazed at the response to the treatments I’m receiving at Deeper Healing. I have been completely honest with my hematologist about the natural treatments I am doing, and her response to them was “I can’t tell you to stop, and there is no way I would tell you to stop. Your body is responding to those treatments.” The change that has happened in the last year has been phenomenal. I am so grateful for the entire team at Deeper Healing.

I was exposed to toxic mold 7 years ago and my health deteriorated rapidly. At 37yrs old I went from being healthy to not being able to work anymore, unable to tolerate foods without reacting, sleeping all day and diagnosed with multiple autoimmune illnesses and diseases. I have been a patient of Dr. Stephanie McCarter, MD, for several years. I had suffered for more than 10 years from debilitating fatigue, chronic pain, a compromised immune system, allergies, and brain fog. Western medicine could not help me. As a matter of fact, the medications that Western Medicine offered me made me worse. For years I bounced from one functional medicine doctor to the next with only slight improvements that were short lived.
