Having our wedding reception at Deity was absolutely the best choice we could have made. We selected them because we liked that they had a beautiful and unique space, offered an all-inclusive package, were very transparent about pricing and reasonably priced, and were open to our unique vision for a costume wedding party. Caio and Anna truly made our night special through their meticulous planning and advice, seamless day-of management, and by overall being very kind and sweet people to work with. We also loved in-house DJ Ben ha Meen who threw DOWN. We couldn’t have asked for the night to go more smoothly or for us and our guests to have more fun, and I couldn’t recommend Deity enough to other couples!

If I could give a negative number I would! The managers had no compassion and were difficult to reach after my child's fiance tragically died about 5 months prior to the wedding date. I was very specific providing info and phone numbers for them to contact me and asked that they didn't contact my child. They emailed her 2 days later asking if it was real. They had 2 deposits and saw no need for a refund at all, while a vailed threat to reach out for a full payment was emailed. I was disgusted by the lack of empathy and never a "we are so sorry". Every other vendor sympathized and contacted only me as requested rather than adding to my child's pain.

I couldn’t have dreamed up a better wedding venue than Deity. The space is stunningly gorgeous and was perfectly sized for our 130-person guest count. Each level (the lounge, loft, and cellar) were expertly tailored to the events they hosted, and somehow comfortably accommodated all of our guests while still feeling cozy and intimate. The other aspects of the all-inclusive package were just as impressive – I don’t know that I’ve ever had better food and drinks at a wedding, and DJ Ben kept the dance floor packed the whole night. But what really sets Deity apart is the service of their staff. Caio and his team do a fantastic job from your first venue tour to the final wedding sendoff. They are transparent, communicative, efficient, and know how to throw one hell of a party. Each staff member that we encountered treated our wedding with such care and attention to detail, and we’ll never be able to thank them enough for the beautiful wedding they gave us.

Possibly the worst venue I’ve been to. Doors are constantly locked while guests are hearded into different rooms. Venue coordinator has full control on when couples are or are not to be interacted with while vaping. His assistant pushes people around and generally creates a hostile environment. Being there felt like just being a burden.

My Son and Daughter in law held their wedding here. The place is beautiful and the service was amazing. As for the food ..so delicious. Wish I could order the Cuban sandwiches and the crab cakes. Brooklyn's Best.💖

My husband and I had an amazing experience working with Anna, Caio, Anastasia, and the rest of the Deity team for our wedding! From planning the ceremony to coordinating everything on the day of the event, their hard work and attention to detail truly made our day unforgettable. Their time, energy, patience, and flexibility were invaluable throughout the entire process. Thanks to their support, our guests had an incredible time and absolutely loved the venue. Deity was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, Anna and her team were clear, kind, and incredibly sweet in their communication. They kept everything running smoothly and on schedule, preventing any issues and ensuring our wedding was the smoothest I've ever attended. The space was gorgeous, highly organized, and truly unique - the space was transformed into a stunning, one-of-a-kind backdrop for our special day. The food was also delicious, and the chef was so gracious in accommodating our requests. We are beyond grateful to Anna and the entire Deity team for making our wedding day perfect in every way.

Our wedding at Deity Brooklyn in June 2024 was absolutely magical! I would 100% recommend Deity to anyone looking for a unique, all-inclusive wedding venue in NYC. From the up-front pricing information, to the first tour with Caio, to securing our date, coming in for a menu tasting and having our planning meeting with Anna and Kat - every step of the way reinforced my confidence that choosing Deity as our wedding venue was the right choice! The space is a beautiful historic building that's been converted to a four story (plus rooftop!) party venue. I loved that Deity provides all the dinnerware, linens and candles, it really limited the decisions we had to make so we could focus on personal touches for our day. We wanted our wedding to feel like an amazing house party, which Deity perfectly delivered. Anna was an incredible coordinator, so on top of everything and thoughtful. The day-of team ran everything so smoothly - I honestly wasn't stressed for a moment, because everyone was organized, calm and clearly loves what they do. The chef and DJ (part of the all-inclusive pricing!) were also amazing. Our guests are still raving about the delicious family-style dinner from the mind of Chef James; and how DJ BenHaMeen read the room and kept us dancing and singing until the wee hours of the morning. We can’t say enough good things about our wedding at Deity. As professionals in the wedding industry, we have seen excellence from venues before, but it is safe to say that nowhere comes close to operating on the same level as Deity. We feel so lucky to have been able to host our family and friends at this exceptional venue. After looking at space after space that either didn’t fit our non-traditional vibe or was steeply over-priced, we had entirely lost hope that we would be able to have our wedding the way that we wanted it in the city. Enter Deity, which felt right from the moment we walked in the door. The owner, Caio, was super transparent about cost, which was especially appreciated after dealing with venues who were reluctant to disclose their fee structures and unwilling to communicate clearly about actual pricing. Not to mention, the space was absolutely gorgeous and felt so uniquely Brooklyn. We knew instantly that this was the place! The entire planning process was seamless and our coordinator, Anna, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. The wedding day itself was equally seamless and we had the absolute BEST time. From when I arrived at 9am at the bridal suite (highly recommend, the space is STUNNING and so, so cool!!!) all the way to when we left the venue at 11:30pm, the entire staff made us feel comfortable and at home. The food rocks, our drinks were never empty, and it really was the perfect day. We love Deity and highly recommend them for your event or wedding!

My husband and I were looking for a high value, reasonably-priced venue in the Brookly area and we found it in DEITY. We were immediately impressed by DEITY wedding packages. We were able to find a package that best fit our vision and budget. It’s really hard to imagine that we could have gotten a better deal for our money anywhere else, especially when you consider that the tax is already baked in upfront without any hidden surprises. DEITY is amazing, we couldn’t have picked a better venue for our small and intimate wedding. The whole staff was very friendly and very accommodating, Anna our event coordinator was always very helpful and guided us with any questions we had. The food was excellent, the table setup was perfect with the family style setting. The Chef was so hospitable, he stopped by to make sure we were pleased with the food. The bottom line is, on the day of our event, DEITY showed up and executed flawlessly, from the decor, to the food, to the event management. We have been getting non-stop compliments from our friends and family about how awesome the wedding was and how much fun they had. It’s a great wedding spot located in Brooklyn for those who are looking for an affordable option. My wife and I got married at Deity back in June, and it was a great pleasure to work with them. Before diving into a detailed review, I’d like to start with a big shoutout to Anna, who was a tremendous help from the first day of planning to the end of the wedding. To start with, the cost of booking a wedding here is definitely cheaper than most places in Manhattan. Our initial goal was to get married in Manhattan, but the prices we received were out of touch. After making our initial booking, we met with Anna at the venue, and she gave us a quick tour. After deciding to move forward, we had a few email communications specifically related to the food and music lists. The venue has a total of four floors and a rooftop. The basement floor is used as a dance floor, the second floor is for cocktail hour, the third floor is the ceremony and dining space, and the rooftop is a good spot to take some great pictures. Honestly, the bridal room was beyond our imagination. It is spacious and comfy. We took our best wedding pictures there. A few points to note: you need to bring your own wedding cake and photographer, which is not a big deal. My wife and I found great people on Facebook to take care of those. For future events, one recommendation I can leave is that, similar to the wedding cake and photographer, it might be nice to allow people to bring their own DJs. That might be a nice addition. Overall, I highly recommend Deity for any wedding event. We had a great experience with them and had no complaints.

We had our wedding on May 5th 2024 and it was THE best day ever. We are so happy we chose Deity to host our special day. We decided to use the suite that they provide to get ready, we had access to it from 8am and our families brought food and drinks and we had breakfast together while everyone got ready, it was so much fun having our friends and family there, it is such a huge space it fit all of us very comfortably. I was very nervous but getting ready with my family and friends took all the nerves away, they provide two Bluetooth speakers so they boys listened to their music while the girls listened to our music. They day went so SMOOTH, there were no hiccups, everyone that works there made sure we had everything we needed and more. They somehow knew what we wanted before we said anything. The food!! Omg the food!! Everyone has not stopped raving about the food, they said it was the best meal they’ve had. The music, our Dj, Dj Ben Ha Meen had everyone on the dance floor until the very end, he played all the songs we asked and more. He was a great time. I was worried about the different floors, and that the older people would have a hard time going up or down but the staff made sure they were good and had a seat at all times. Days later our friends still tell us how fun and amazing our wedding was and I don’t think it would have been this amazing if we didn’t have it at Deity. Thank you Anna and the staff!

Had a wonderful micro wedding at Deity. The venue is beautiful, the food was incredible and most importantly the staff was a joy to work with. Planning a wedding is daunting, and they made it so easy. Aside from the cake, the photographer and the officiant, they took care of EVERYTHING making it a wonderful stress-free experience. Our wedding guests were so impressed and had a blast. I will definitely be recommending Deity to those in need of an event space in NYC.
